Great location & welcome. Very comfortable room with authentic setting. Very polite and helpful staff. Make the most of the rooftop pool.

They should have 24 hour access with guests keycards and not have to rely on the front desk to buzz you in and out of the hotel.

The hotel is overall very nice. Our stay was pleasant however we had to switch rooms on our second night due to some issues (noise, TV not working, shower drain blocked). Something to note is that only the rooms on the newer, left wing of the building have openable windows and therefore natural light and ventilation.

The property was beautiful and tranquil. You would never you were in the middle of the historic center because it was so peaceful and quiet indoors. The staff were attentive, polite, and very pleasant. We loved Arnold and Jovani and the front desk! The decor and ambience of the hotel was exactly as we wanted and very authentic. Some opportunities were the daily breakfast: the options were very limited and the food is left out and unrefrigerated the entire time in very hot weather. I did not feel comfortable eating or drinking things that were warm. The spa experience was good, although it was more of a room with a curtain than a spa. My therapist, Gina, was lovely but there was nowhere to put my clothes. Also during the massage, you could still hear the music from the rooftop as well as some of the workers. It would have been nice if they were notified that clients were in session and should not be disturbed. Other than that, this was a perfect location and a beautiful experience! I will definitely return to Cartagena and Hotel Bantú!

Well located hotel. Quit area and close to restaurants and bars. Awesome costumer service and delicious breakfast.
