Great stay, perfect location , we loved it. It would be great if the breakfast buffet would change the type of food offered … only relevant for longer stays, the breakfast was ok

Bad bad bad all round. Give it a skip. Pool is indoors. Like something you would expect in Coney Island or Atlantic City. Gross.

The location is great, at position C on the beach, the view outside the window is particularly healing. The hotel has a dedicated parking lot🅿, and parking fees are waived. The room is a bit old, the flush toilet doesn't work very well, the breakfast is mediocre, and the price/performance ratio is not high.

The environment is very good at the seaside, the front desk and breakfast are very good, but the room facilities are average. Overall, it's OK

Be sure to book a sea view room! ! awesome! ! We slept with the balcony door open at night, and it was so nice to fall asleep listening to the sound of the waves. The new decoration of the room is great, but there is a smell. location number ONE! !

Needs improvement Overall the communal areas , reception bar etc were very nice and well kept. I was not very impressed with the hallway on floor 1, there were many stains on the floor carpet and an odd smell. The room was very clean but very hot considering it was February and there was no way of turning the air con on. We had to sleep with the door open and because of the position of the hotel it’s quite noisy. They need to do something about the mattresses as the bed was overly hard/firm too and was not comfortable. Bathroom needs addressing as there is black mood behind the sink mirror. Rooftop bar not open, assuming as it was out of season but was abit disappointing. All the staff members we encountered were nice ,especially reception. Would we consider staying again? maybe because of the location and price but would probably upgrade the room. The view from the balcony is great

A wonderful location on the seafront and in the old part of town. Everything felt within easy walking distance. We loved the balcony overlooking the sea. A good buffet breakfast and a good size room.

Stayed in Feb. a lot of problems. Got to the room, the temperature is 27 degree Celsius, of course AC is off for the season and no way to cool the room unless opening the window. Facing the street and all night there was loud music from the pub downstairs. Worst of all, the “new” WiFi they put in for higher floors doesn’t work. It kept drop the connection every 1-2 minutes. You pretty much can’t use the internet unless you go to the lobby to use a different WiFi. Bathroom is old and all the towels are old and worn out. Yes the location is great, right next to the marina, but the experience is poor to say the least.

I came to Cascais as my final stop before returning to the USA after several months in Europe. I absolutely loved this town and this hotel. There is absolutely no reason to look elsewhere. The hotel is in a fabulous location and the views from the small terraces were fantastic. The staff was great, the breakfast was good, and the restaurant in the evening was fantastic. No complaints at all. I was here in early December and it was wonderful to have a bird’s eye view of all the Christmas activities below. It was such a joy to stay here at this particular time. Cascais is beautiful and this hotel could not have been be better.

While the rooms are small by American standards, they we well appointed by Europe standards. Great pool and roof top deck. I had an Oceanview with a balcony which was delightful and I keep the balcony doors open day and night.

The hotel is quite old and very noisy. We had requested a quiet room, with a good view, but was given a very noisy room in the wing of the hotel next to bars and restaurants. Our view was a wall.

We have stayed at this property before and had an enjoyable experience in the past. This more recent trip, we booked the room with the queen side bed. It was less than uncomfortable and felt like you were sleeping on a box rather than a mattress it was hard as a rock. The “blankets” on the bed were as thin as a could be and it was like sleeping with 2 sheets. All the towels in the bathroom had stains on them. The safe in the room was missing the lock therefore unusable with a note stating “if you would like to use a safe, please contact the front desk”. As an international traveler, I find it necessary to lock your documents and extra cash in a safe at all hotels for added security of your most important belonging. I understand they are either renovating or about to start renovations but based on the recent experience and the lack of sleep we received due to lack of comfort, I don’t think we will stay at Hotel Baia again.
