Hotel great was great other than our room - room 135, unbelievable noise. One wall is shared with back of a bar. Constant noises from bottles being moved, jarred, barstools scraping across the floor. Outside/courtyard wall has restaurant and one evening, a jazz band (you can’t make this stuff up) which was all of four feet from our window.

The hotel has so much charm! Wonderful atmosphere and so close to all things downtown Charleston! Our room was extremely small and beside loud ac units. Those are the only things keeping me from giving an Excellent rating! We will be back!

This is a beautiful hotel. The amenities are terrific. The restaurant at the hotel is convenient and yummy. This is walkable to king street and close to everything!

One of a kind
This by far has been the best hotel we have stayed at as a family. The staff was so professional, courteous, and we went above and beyond daily to make sure our stay wasn't just a "stay" but an experience. Ashley, the front desk associate, greeted us. She made sure my daughter's and I felt like royalty. Her service and kindness was supreme. She even checked on us daily to make sure our stay was going well. The concierge staff was top notch as well, making sure we knew all the best places to go for our stay.
I cannot thank the staff at Emeline enough for taking great care of us.

Liked location and facilities. Had multiple problems with this stay. Problems with reservations, housekeeping, billing, lack of toiletries, toiletries never refilled or replaced after use, had to ask 2 times for toilet paper, room not cleaned at all for one night of our stay and no fresh towels left, had to ask 3 times for a blanket, not provided room we had booked, told not available until next day, went to one room for that first night and then no tv and no internet, got moved in wee hours to the room we had indeed reserved.

Classy Hotel, Great rooms. Love the record player, Love that they had the water machines. Not super big fan about glass containers. The front desk staff and Valet and Bellman were great. Restaurant was not super friendly or efficient.
