The front desk service was attentive and thoughtful; they personally guided me to my room and provided welcome fruits. The restaurant is located in the lobby on the first floor. While the selection isn't vast, the ingredients are fresh, and the餛飩 (wontons) and noodles were both quite delicious."

"Three generations of us traveled to southern Anhui, and for the last two nights, we chose Ziyang Yanyu Hotel to perfectly conclude our trip. Firstly, the hotel's location is quiet yet convenient, overlooking the ancient city of Huizhou across the river, only 1.7 kilometers away, with very convenient access to restaurants nearby. Secondly, as a newly opened hotel, it features Huizhou-style architecture, with blue bricks and gray tiles, fully intelligent systems, and impeccable cleanliness. We are grateful to the receptionist for upgrading us to a room with a view; enjoying a drink and a bath while overlooking the Yuliang Dam in the evening was wonderful! "Excellent hotel with clean and well furnished rooms and close to Huizhou ancient city. The parling was closed and breakfast restaurant was closed due to recent flood. The staff asked me to cancel my booking and rebook cheaper rooms because they cannot provide breakfast. I insisted on taking breakfast somewher nearby. She showed me a picture of a simple breakfast and siad it could be delivered to rooms. If something like this happens in other hotels, they would offer room upgrade or some kind of compensation. Asking the guest to cancel and rebook is absurd. It was also impossible to connect to Wife if you do not have a Chinese number. She didn't tell me this for an hour. All in all the service attitude was quite poor despite excellent rooms. What a pity!"
