"The hotel was lovely, location great. The room was spotlessly clean. We did not eat but had a drink at the pool bar which was lovely."

"We spent 16 nights over Christmas and New Year at the Fariones and had a great time. The Hotel is beautifully and tastefully renovated with subtle luxury in a classic mid- century design which you would typically find in smaller boutique hotels. Many old features of the traditional Fariones Hotel were kept which all together provides a very comfortable and classy and elegant atmosphere without being stuffy or fussy. The grounds and garden resemble top luxury resorts in Thailand or the Maldives with plenty of palm trees, exotic gardens and many different and private areas for lounging, sun bathing, relaxing and so on. All 3 restaurants have their own style with great food and service. All rooms have sea views with a high level of comfort, design and decoration The sports center 2 minutes walk away although a little older offered everything needed and more... The hygiene concept was professional and taken seriously Hotel Director Jörg and his team made great efforts during Christmas and New Year with a classy programme of dining, entertainment, live music and daily piano sessions which all in all provided a very festive atmosphere. The multinational team of the Fariones displayed a very positive spirit. The hotel opened only a few month before the holiday season and it seemed that everone was exited to be back in business ater 4 yers of renovation. Despite the reopening there was not a single negative service moment in over 2 weeks. Just to name a few staff members who made it a special stay for us: Arnaud, Emilie and Javier from reception. Fransisco, Anna, Miriam and Elke from Guest relations. "A very large resort a small supermarket but if not all inclusive would be a problem as to getting cabs to the local town could get expensive Night life for kids good but adults cannot even seat outside in the evening s with a drink as pool bar closes at 6 pm Unless you go to the payable restaurants and champs sports bar not very good if paid for all inclusive We was in block 7 but as there are still steps to the lift if getting on a bit would be a problem as me and my wife 70 and 65 years Overall as we had our son his wife and 3 small grandchildren but they 4 minutes walk away why we wasn’t put nearer each other one would never know but we did not book at the same time they were near the reception and dinning room but did have a few cockroaches in there room trying to use the microwave Overall good resort large pools"

"This is a good hotel with very high standards of cleanliness. There is a lot of choice at breakfast and the hot options vary each day. It gets very busy sometimes, even though the staff do their best to clear the tables quickly. Reception staff are variable in their level of friendliness. Some are more welcoming than others. The rooms with balconies to the side of the hotel overlook a very busy and noisy road which I wouldn’t want to stay in again. Fine if you are not bothered by traffic noise. There is a pool and a small gym which a lot of hotels don’t offer."

"The location provided isn't very accurate compared to its actual spot. The pools are 'boxed in' by the buildings and are smaller than they appear in photos. The front desk person who checked us in was very kind; we asked for a recommendation and it was spot on. However, there aren't enough reception staff to handle the large number of guests checking in and out. We really disliked the system for contacting reception; there's no direct phone line, the switchboard just forwards calls, but no one answers... after trying for 4 days before our arrival, it was impossible to get through."

"Amazing hotel! The location, at the quieter end of PDC, 5/10 mins from Airport and only €1.40 on local bus (161). Still besides shops, bars & restaurants but with this being an All Inclusive hotel I never had to spent a cent. Beer, wines, coffee, soft drinks on tap…literally, but has also numerous bars around the place with great service. Three restaurants, two of which you need to book in advance (Asian & Canarian), food is plentiful and of a very good standard. You could not go hungry! The cleaning & maintenance team are like a small army, the place is spotless and nothing gets overlooked. I’d fully recommend!!!"

"Nice and clean and great location. Street it is on felt a little dark and we were wary walking down it at night. Only downside was noise levels , everything seemed to echo so we could hear doors slamming, people walking and talking all night, shower from room upstairs etc Would recommend especially for price and value."
