We chose Manque as the final stop of our 2.5 wk trip in China, starting from Shanghai. Along the way we bought souvenirs and had them shipped to Manque. The staff graciously accepted the deliveries and even paid shipping fee on one of the orders on our behalf. When we arrived all the packages were waiting for us in our room. Our stay came with a 1-hr photo session and Zixuan photo studio was very accommodating in arranging the time slot. Our photographer Yaoyao took so many nice photos that we had trouble picking out which ones to keep! One word of caution though, the hotel is situated on top of a hill in a historic park, so be prepared to climb a lot of stairs just to get back to the hotel. After a long journey, or when our legs were tired from the climb, curling up in Atour's bed to watch a projection screen and enjoy delicious food was the perfect restful break...
