Hampton by Hilton Hotels in Chongqing

I was very satisfied with my stay! The hotel is conveniently located, just a 5-minute walk from the subway station. After dinner, I could even stroll along the river. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was soft and comfortable, the air conditioning was effective, and it was quiet at night, allowing for a restful sleep. The bathroom had separate wet and dry areas, plenty of hot water, and the toiletries were high-quality. Anan, the front desk staff, was warm and attentive, and the check-in and check-out process was quick. She also offered suggestions for nearby attractions. The breakfast was varied, with both Chinese and Western options, and the ingredients were fresh and delicious. Overall, the value for money was excellent. I'd stay here again and would recommend it to anyone traveling!

The room was quite small, but the design made decent use of the space. My experience at Hampton by Hilton this time was quite underwhelming. To start, I was informed before check-in that the view from the window would be obstructed, which I found acceptable as I knew about it beforehand. However, a rather large pillar inside the room took up considerable space and was quite obstructive. Since it was a busy weekend and the hotel was fully booked, we couldn't switch rooms. As I was with friends and it would have been inconvenient to find another hotel, we reluctantly made do for the two nights. Secondly, the room had only a half-wall window, which resulted in poor natural light and made the overall lighting feel dim. The light switch design was also problematic; I often found myself turning off all the lights in the room just to switch off a single one. Furthermore, the bathroom's sliding door couldn't close completely, allowing light to seep through and offering poor privacy.

The location of the hotel is actually very good. It is a landmark building in the center of Shapingba. However, many of the surrounding traffic routes are one-way streets. If you are not careful, you will have to take a detour if you take a taxi. Friends who are going to stay at the hotel, if you take a taxi, it is best to stop at Exit 5 of Shapingba Metro Station and walk up the fastest. Driving is in an underground parking garage with multiple levels, so it's a bit of a detour, so you'll need to communicate with the hotel staff in advance (the hotel staff are very friendly and welcoming ❤️). The hotel lobby is very retro and gorgeous, and the view from the floor-to-ceiling windows is definitely worth a photo op! 🌿🌿🌿 The room was very new. Although it just opened, it didn't smell at all, which the hotel handled very well. 👍 Once you're in the hotel, everything is really convenient... Downstairs, there's a shopping district, subway, bus station, food, and everything you need for fun. The subway line directly below the hotel takes you directly to many famous attractions in Chongqing. It's really, really worth it... Highly recommended! 🦜 100% recommended! Also, the breakfast was incredible! There were quite a few options. There were spicy and non-spicy options, cold dishes, cooked food, local snacks, and Western breakfasts. It was truly unbelievable 🐈❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Whenever I'm on a business trip or a trip, Hampton by Hilton is always my first choice, and I wasn't disappointed this time. The hotel is right next to the subway station, making it very convenient to popular attractions, especially Jiefangbei and Hongyadong. It's only three or four stops away, no transfers required, and it's not as noisy at night as hotels in business districts. The cleanliness and service are impeccable, and Hilton always has excellent standards. I was particularly pleased with the breakfast this time, which was very diverse and of exceptional quality, far surpassing the breakfast at another Four-Diamond hotel I stayed at in Xi'an this past holiday. I'll be back to work after my vacation, working harder to better enjoy my next trip. I'm looking forward to staying at Hilton in my next city.

Location: The location is excellent, right next to Chaotianmen Metro Station (Line 1), making it an effortless one-minute walk to the entrance. Facilities: I really appreciated the stylish Klein blue slippers from Hilton, haha! The river view from the high-floor garden room was absolutely stunning. However, the open-air hot tub felt a bit impractical; it's a shame you can't enjoy a soak and watch the rain on a rainy day, lol. Service: Outstanding! I accidentally had my package delivered to a different Hampton, but the staff went above and beyond, tirelessly helping me locate it and even confirming its arrival later. Cleanliness: While not dirty, the glass enclosure of the garden hot tub was a bit foggy/cloudy. Perhaps a more thorough and regular cleaning is needed for the glass surfaces, as they naturally require special maintenance over time. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay.

The location is very convenient, walking distance to the shopping mall and many restaurants and a small night market nearby. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful, especially Ella and Joy. Super polite and patient. Room was perfect, very clean, everything I needed. Breakfast was also great, wide variety and helpful staff. I have 2 problems with the amenities, though. The gym was closed when I arrived, I opened the door and went in by myself. I found that 2 of the 3 treadmills weren’t working. I saw the hotel opened in 2022, so I don’t understand how they already have these kind of issues. The hotel also say that they have an indoor swimming pool, but this swimming pool is located in the mall next to the hotel, which means a late night swim is out of the question. In this heat, a swim at night would have been the perfect way to cool down. Either way, I would definitely recommend the hotel, as long as you don’t plan on using the gym or swimming pool.

Facilities: A very new hotel with complete facilities and equipment. The indoor facilities include a great hemp room, a gym, a piano room, a children's play area, and a table tennis room. It rained the day we went, but it was not boring at all. There are yachts, kayaks, motorboats and sightseeing boats outdoors, which are particularly fun for children. Hygiene: The hygiene is very good, the bathroom is clean, the bedding is new, clean and soft, the rubber pillow helps with sleep, there is a personalized night reading light, even the tissue box is very creative and can hold mobile phones, and the disposable slippers are thick and comfortable. The bathroom is spacious, the room is bright, and there is a ******** room with a lake view. The ******** machines are the latest large ones, like the ones coming out of a train tunnel. There are also rooms with large terraces facing the lake that can be equipped with canopies, but we went late this time and they were all booked. Environment: The hotel has a novel appearance, the air is particularly good, parking is very convenient, and there is a playground for children. You can eat barbecue Service: The breakfast is delicious and rich in variety. I recommend the beef noodles and mixed noodles. They are absolutely authentic. The dining environment is very good. The restaurant faces the lake. The restaurant is large and there are private rooms on the second floor. The decoration is luxurious and it is suitable for business banquets or families. The service provided by the lady at the front desk was very good and friendly. She even gave me slippers and toothbrush for my child.

This is my second stay. The hardware facilities in the room are well maintained, and look like new without any stains. The hygiene is also very clean. The service attitude is particularly good. The lady at the front desk took the initiative to ask if you need a disposable razor. The breakfast is delicious and rich. The hotel also has a restaurant. Dinner is ordered in the restaurant. The taste is very good. The green vegetable beef and Qianjiang chicken offal are super delicious. The location is also easy to find and parking is convenient.
