MM20620****The car slowly pulled up to the hotel entrance. Before we even got out, the staff at the door had already taken our luggage from the trunk and brought it to the entrance. When we checked in, the front desk saw we had a child and upgraded us to a suite. When we waited outside for our ride-sharing car, we saw arriving guests get out, and not only did the hotel staff open the door for them, but they also discreetly checked the car to make sure no items were left behind. When we went out to explore, they would also give us tips and suggestions. The service throughout was perfect, without any unnecessary politeness or pretense; it felt subtle and attentive, making guests feel truly at home.
Although the hotel is a bit older, the rooms were impeccably clean.
We had three lunches and dinners at the hotel, and the food was delicious. Because we had a child, I hoped the dishes could be a bit softer and more tender. The waiter even told me, 'Taste if it's soft enough. If you don't like it with onions, or if your child doesn't like it, we can change it.' It truly made us feel very warm.
One evening around 8 PM, the front desk called to check on our stay, which was well-intentioned, but it disturbed our child's sleep. The next day, they actually apologized to us in person and even gave our little one a toy doll, which made us feel a bit embarrassed instead.
During our two-night, three-day stay, I honestly couldn't find a single fault. Every staff member meticulously served the guests, making me feel how wonderful the people of Chongqing are.
Next time I come to Chongqing, I will definitely choose this hotel again.

MM273164****During my trip to Chongqing, I stayed at both Ji Xia Shan and Ji Xiang, and I definitely preferred Ji Xiang.
**Pros:**
- The hotel is genuinely new, and both the common areas and the rooms are well-maintained.
- The rooms are really spacious. We stayed in a 'Li Xiang King Room,' and upon entering, it's divided into a bathing area and a bedroom. The bathroom vanity is large, facing a big glass window, and it has a truly functional large makeup mirror (though it wasn't fully charged upon check-in). The lighting is exceptional, which was one of the reasons I chose this room.
- The design of the public areas and the breakfast restaurant is exquisite and elegant, making you want to linger.
- The afternoon tea cakes are genuinely delicious and well-made. The collaborative travel photography produced very professional results, and our butler, Shuyou, was very responsive.
**Cons:**
- After getting dropped off by a taxi, you need to walk down some steps and a slope to reach the lobby. Families with young children should be aware of this.
- Both the Wi-Fi and cell signal in the room were surprisingly poor.
- The showerhead in the bathroom was the only real flaw in the room's amenities; it swivels inwards towards the wall, making it impossible to use properly.

LLing^_^I brought my mom to Chongqing and chose a hotel in the bustling Jiefangbei area. Last time we stayed at the Glenview, and this time we're at the Marriott. Actually, their locations are pretty much the same, both excellent, and the prices are similar. The only difference is that the Marriott is an apartment-style hotel, so you can cook there! Overall, it's pretty good~

SShironamiThanks for the wonderful five-day stay! I had such a comfortable and restful time. Every evening, the hotel would bring us various traditional sweet soups they brewed themselves, which was a lovely touch. Getting around was super convenient too; we just called for the shuttle service and they responded very quickly. I also tried the singing bowl healing session, which was a truly relaxing and peaceful experience. I loved waking up each morning, drawing the curtains, and being greeted by the healing view of the mountains and wild nature.
The third floor was relatively quiet, and we weren't disturbed by people soaking in the wild springs by the river, so privacy was well-protected.
Booking the complimentary travel photography service was quick and easy as well, and some of the fixed shooting spots produced really great photos.

The location is absolutely unbeatable. It's just a 5-minute walk to Jiefangbei, and the Shibatil Scenic Area is right at the entrance. Strolling back to the hotel after enjoying the night view is incredibly pleasant, no need to squeeze onto the subway or hail a taxi. The surrounding area is also a treasure trove, with all sorts of hot pot and Sichuan cuisine readily available. There are convenience stores within walking distance, and a subway station right outside the door, making transportation and dining incredibly hassle-free.
The room experience was fantastic! We got an upgraded room, and the Sealy mattress was just the right firmness, with clean, odor-free bedding, ensuring a wonderfully sound sleep. The entire room features smart controls for lighting and curtains, which are easy to operate and feel very high-tech. The rainfall showerhead provided stable and ample hot water, making for a superb bathing experience. The cleanliness was beyond reproach; every corner of the room was spotless, the bathroom was dry and odor-free, and even the cups had no water stains, giving us complete peace of mind. The service was also excellent; they arranged our check-in in advance, and the process was incredibly fast. They even proactively provided us with a map of nearby attractions and a food guide. There's a one-on-one butler service, so any needs during our stay were quickly addressed. The cleaning staff tidied up meticulously every day and would actively replenish complimentary bottled water and toiletries. The buffet breakfast, combining Chinese and Western options, was incredibly rich, offering not only coffee, bread, and fruit but also Chongqing specialties like Chongqing noodles and wontons. The ingredients were fresh, and the taste was authentic. The mini-bar in the room also had free drinks and beer, and the high-speed Wi-Fi was consistently smooth, perfect for work or streaming without any lag. The value for money is simply off the charts. The hotel also boasts nice views, with a bar and a pool that offer great scenic perspectives.

HHuyouxiaoshengThis hotel is located right in the heart of Jiefangbei, with the monument visible from the window. The transportation is incredibly convenient, making it easy to get to all the main attractions in Chongqing, many of which are within walking distance. Despite facing the street, the room was surprisingly quiet. The hotel is brand new, so the facilities are modern and everything is spotlessly clean. The shower had stable water temperature and excellent pressure. The hotel staff were very responsive to our requests; they even changed our room and provided a complimentary breakfast for our child. The breakfast was quite good, not a huge variety but enough to have a satisfying meal.

GGuest UserOverall a great place. Beautiful rooms of the highest quality in every regard. The best features are the hot spring pools in the rooms of course. The showers are also great( two in every shower room) Great quality TV with great sound. Good selection of movies( not the latest releases) but all free. Food at the hotell restaurants had good standard. The best we have experienced in China. But for double the price we would pay for the same quality Chinese food in Norway. Surprisingly!
But keep clear of the pizza. It is actually just a frozen pizza type. Very small. We didn’t order any more western dishes after that, except for the Cesar’s salad. Which was good.
The place is old now and a bit worn. But it’s still is very very beautiful and high quality.
Where this hotell really shines is the services of the staff. Even if they don’t speak English and we don’t speak Chinese they are very patient.
To a Norwegian it is almost too much. They carry your bags even when thy are too heavie and many for one person.
They drive you you to and from your room if you have a villa.
We got an upgrade from ordinary room with hot spring pool and double bed to a villa! Because we found 6 small worms in the shower room.
I think this is pretty hard to avoid in such a sub tropical and humid environment.
But we reported it to the staff and they immediately gave us an upgrade with a complementary big fruit basket. We were blown away by this huge upgrade.
Only thing that was a bit negative and unexpected is the extra deposit fee which is quite high.
I think this should have been more clearly informed in the hotell booking and hotell online page.
We were a bit low on funds as Banyan tree was our last hotell stay in China before leaving and we were on a planned but tight budget.
We solved it of course with our Mastercard but it caused a bit stress for us.
And a second thing is that using Alipay instead of WeChat is more difficult at the hotell. ( not impossible)But without Chinese phone number you can’t use WeChat.

It's located in the heart of the central business district, within walking distance of the subway station, and right next to Wanda Plaza, making shopping and dining incredibly convenient. The lobby, with its red and black color scheme and artistic decor, is grand and picturesque. The guest rooms are spacious with high ceilings. You can often snag a large room for just over 400 RMB, and during peak season, they frequently have surprising packages, with consecutive stays even including dining vouchers and experience benefits. The room was clean and tidy, with excellent soundproofing. The double vanity design was super practical, and the bedding was so soft it made you want to just stay in bed. The facilities are comprehensive, with a heated swimming pool at a comfortable temperature and a well-equipped gym. The free parking also alleviated any travel concerns. The biggest surprise was the dining; the 99 RMB Chinese buffet offered dozens of dishes like spicy rabbit and crispy shrimp. The seafood was fresh, and the desserts were outstanding, completely exceeding expectations. The location is superb, with the subway entrance practically at your doorstep, making it easy to get to attractions and shopping areas. The service is warm but not intrusive. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next visit!

Zzyl0124The room was tidy, except for the very noisy fridge! I booked a city-facing room, and it was so relaxing to lie on the sofa at night and enjoy the amazing city lights 🌃. The hotel breakfast was good, and the afternoon tea was also decent!
