We enjoy our stay and also the SPA. Not so crowded on the time that we stayed.

Very basic but okay for the price

The room is clean and of a good size. The location is slightly off the train station and the inner city, so the price is cheap. Give priority to business rooms with carpets. At first, I chose the expensive superior room, and the carpet looked old, not as good as the cheaper business room. I stayed in the room directly opposite the elevator, and it was not very noisy. One of the waiters at the front desk was Chinese. There is a Rewe supermarket 30 meters downstairs, open until 10 pm. The disadvantage of the hotel is that there are not many restaurants around. The nearest shopping mall is 1.2 kilometers away, and you can walk there in 25 minutes. I strongly recommend Saman Restaurant (not the TO GO store), which is a 30-minute walk from the hotel, with a rating of 4.9. Whole lamb chops, lamb, and beef are really the best places for meat lovers. It is best to make an appoin**ent for the arrival time on Google map.

Luckily I was only there for one night... The service at reception is terrible... I booked this hotel because of the SPA. 1. Apparently there were no bathrobes or sauna towels in the entire hotel, so I had to go up and down in my clothes because it was a bit uncomfortable to walk through the hotel in the small towel that barely reached my bottom. 2. The drinking water in the tiny sauna was empty and couldn't be refilled on the same day. 4. The sauna infusion was also empty from the start, I was told to just use water?! The lady wanted to check for oil etc. but then just hung up and didn't get in touch again. 5. I asked if they could bring me an iron to my room while I went shopping next door. They just handed it to me, you can take it yourself 6. Tissues smeared with blood on the floor in the ladies' changing room 7. Storage room open in the spa with empty beer bottles 8. The cooling pool was also not filled and takes at least half an hour to fill 9. Children are not allowed here? So I had to sit in the sauna with one and listen to the loud singing at breakfast 10. Employees not friendly at breakfast - no good morning or anything like that As I trained as a hotel manager myself, I know exactly what I'm talking about here and this has nothing to do with service or guest-oriented work. I mentioned all of this when checking out, which was met with a small "oh, I'm sorry". I will definitely never come back and certainly no one I know will either.

The biggest problem is that there is no ventilation fan

The hotel is getting old. Old air conditioning. I even had to change rooms because of the noise. The second room was better and the bed was better too. The signs of wear and tear are everywhere. Wall stains, broken tiles, etc. The room was well equipped and had everything you needed, even a coffee machine. The windows are well insulated and you don't hear much from the street. The location isn't the best but there is a bus stop 10 meters from the entrance. This takes you to the S-Bahn station in 3 minutes. There is a Rewe right next door. I would have found it overpriced for the normal price. However, I was able to pay under €70 for one night via the TRIP portal, which is acceptable for Cologne standards.

The hotel I stayed at when I went to see the Blackpink concert. The transportation is quite convenient. You can take the tram to various places at one intersection. There are also snack bars nearby.
