Corfu Imperial, Grecotel Beach Luxe Resort

The Grecotel was, as always, amazing! We enjoyed every moment of our stay and recommend you to book.

We were lucky enough to stay at this beautiful hotel and although only able to spend 3 days there (a little break after our cruise) we would definitely return as it offered more and more each time we went and walked around. The design of the hotel and the area around it is unique and stunning and beautiful. This was out first time at a Grecotel and we will definitely be visiting one again and hopefully in the very near future. The staff were warm and welcoming, and seemed to have plenty of time to interact with us. The hotel had various areas to eat and the choice of food from the buffet was excellent with also a great drinks option and wine list. Resting around the pool in the adult only section, walking onto the little private island or sitting watching the sun go down in the Italian bar every moment was sheer pleasure. The room we booked had a balcony where we could relax overlooking the sea and watching the little fishing boats come in was just a joy and gave you a taste of real life on Corfu. Saying you get what you pay for, and we really really felt we did at this hotel.

Beautiful location, stunning hotel but the best part of the hotel is its staff. Best rooms/suites are positioned near the beach as you get direct access to it and allocated sun beds. It was such a relaxing places we only left once to go on a boat trip!Can’t wait to visit again and hopefully soon.

Best Hotel in Greece! Everything were perfect. Best yoga with one and only Alyona with perfect view ! And the food were excelent. The staff cares much about the guests. Seperate beach and pool for the adults are the best solutions. Really recomend.

What a fantastic hotel. We stayed at the Corfu Imperial for a week in May and can honestly say everything was first class. The room with a lovely sea view was very comfortable with everything we needed. The hotel, grounds, beaches and pools were extremely clean, neat and tidy, with enough facilities and space for all to enjoy. The buffet selection at breakfast and dinner was second to none, a very impressive selection of almost anything you wanted. It was good to have other dining options on site. We sampled the Italian and Seafood restaurants which were both excellent. It was nice being relatively close to the airport (30 minutes) and Corfu town. The shuttle bus laid on by the hotel was great for a trip in to town, which we used twice. Must make a mention also of all the staff, who were attentive, courteous and kind throughout. Beautiful room with great views. The range of food available at the breakfast buffet was impressive. The staff were very friendly and professional. Loukia from Guest Services was particularly attentive and helped to make our stay a very pleasant experience.

We visited in May 2024 Location: You definitely need to hire a car if you want to see any of the Island. This hotel is very isolated, and unlike many others that I have stayed in previously, there was unfortunately nowhere to walk to nearby, and we were advised by reception that although there was a bus stop around 1 mile away we shouldn’t walk there as the roads are not safe to do so (no footpaths). This we hadn’t really well researched in advance and we made assumptions about accessibility so please do be aware. If you are happy to just stay at the hotel then this is definitely the place for you. The hotel did have a shuttle bus twice a day to Corfu Town (1/2 hour drive away). However this only has 19 seats so it is essential to book using the hotel app, and this I would recommend you do on arrival or you will not get a place (we were not visiting peak season and it was booked up days in advance - maybe they add more buses in peak season?). The hotel will also arrange taxis however this is a pretty expensive solution to getting out and about. Rooms: We had a seaview room in teh main building and we had a lovely view Cleanliness: Can’t fault the level of cleanliness throughout the hotel it was immaculate Food: For me this was a BIG disappointment. We stayed half board and pretty much saw the same dishes most evenings. Breakfast was OK but nothing special. Compared to other hotels of a similar standing I would say this was the worst I have stayed at. We also had to wait a few times for tables to become available, and considering we did not stay in peak season I can only imagine it must be much worse in busy periods Staff: Extremely friendly and helpful Pools: The pools are well maintained with life guards and staff servings refreshments etc. The main pool was really noisy with kids screaming a lot of the time, there is a smaller pool next to it which is signposted as ‘Adults Only’ but in reality it is still within earshot of the main pool so wasn’t great! Grounds: Immaculate Ambiance: Lacks soul, it feels functional but there is no atmosphere in the bar etc.

We have just come back from 7 days at this amazing hotel. We have had a full 5 star experience with amazing rooms, one over looking the sea and the other over looking a very quiet pool. We where booked into another hotel which was not good at all, but even with it being half term the amazing team at the front desk managed to find 2 amazing rooms for our stay. On our last day we had a very boozy lunch at the Trattoria and the food was so good but the puddings where even better. Evi (Eva) in the restaurant was so amazing, I am not sure how she works this hard but still makes you feel that you are the first guest she has seen that morning or afternoon. The pools, restaurants and bedrooms were just perfect. Thanks to everyone who made our stay so lovely.
