Excellent new option in Dallas. I’ve stayed multiple times at the Ritz Carlton, Dallas and also the Mansion on Turtle Creek and this is a better option for half the price. Cleaner, newer and more comfortable rooms and beds. Great public areas, guest hallways and fantastic rooms. Incredibly quiet hotel; you would never know you are downtown. Very nicely equipped gym. Great self-parking option also at this hotel, which is rare for city hotels. Only recommendation to the hotel would be that they increase their executive lounge offerings in the evening. For this evening they literally just had three types of fried spring rolls for the hot area besides soup and that was it. Last night was poor also. A bit more variety would go along way- and some healthier and different hot options- not just fried stuff. Definitely not a game changer though and we would definitely stay here.

Excellent new option in Dallas. I’ve stayed multiple times at the Ritz Carlton, Dallas and also the Mansion on Turtle Creek and this is a better option for half the price. Cleaner, newer and more comfortable rooms and beds. Great public areas, guest hallways and the rooms are brand-new and superior. Incredibly quiet hotel; you would never know you are downtown. Very nicely equipped gym. Great self-parking option also at this hotel, which is rare for city hotels. Only recommendations to the hotel would be: 1) That they increase their executive lounge offerings in the evening. For one evening they literally just had three types of fried spring rolls for the hot area besides soup and that was it. The other evening was poor also. A bit more variety would go along way- and some healthier and different hot options- not just fried stuff. 2) Vacuum more!! Debris on guest hallway (floor 20) from check in on 6/6 through checkout on 6/8- kinda gross, they need to vacuum the hallways daily. 3) Do a better job at check-in explaining the self-parking situation. It’s basically part of the hotel structure (but separate business-wise) - so you can’t use your room key to get out as per usual standard and we went through a big 20 minute fiasco when my spouse left one day, but I had the ticket, I spent 20 minutes then having to leave the room office, find where they were at the gate to let them out. Had the front desk mentioned this to me at check in perhaps this would’ve been avoided. Also at 8 a.m. this morning when leaving, we arrived at the entrance to the garage and there was a code to get in (as it was still early) and we had no code and had to go back into the hotel to get the code. Lots of wasting time here- they need to do a much better job explaining everything. 4) Subpar water, shower pressure, but this seems to be the standard at most newly built hotels these days. None of this was a game changer though as we would definitely stay here again, the pros outweigh the cons here.

First off, beautiful hotel. Second, needs some work. Also note, this location is quite new(approx been open about 10 months) My expectation with a JW Marriott is usually a more upscale experience and services with higher-end amenities. While the hotel was nice and felt "elevated" there are definitely some corners that were cut. Although this might seem a little petty, I'd expect to be drinking coffee out of a mug vs a paper cup wrapped in plastic, now that is something I'd expect out of a mid-tier hotel. Sugar, never refilled & needed to call and request more. Room- upon taking a shower the evening of our arrival, I discovered not 1 or 2, but many LONG hairs strewn about the shower: on the floor and stuck to the shower door glass & panels(see pics and note- we are both men with very short hair) Shower: it's a beautiful walk in shower with MINIMAL water pressure and low quality shower fixtures. Then on Saturday- were out all day and had dinner plans with a large group of friends later that evening, upon return to our room around 3:45pm, we found it had not been cleaned. I had to call and ask to have the room cleaned(and no, I did not choose points over room cleaning service as that was not even offered) just about 20 minutes later, no towels(we had no clean towels to shower with so we could get ready for dinner) so I called again, yet another 20 min went by...and no towels. I decided to go downstairs and ask to speak with a manager; 11th floor lobby desk told me I needed to go down to the first floor desk to speak with a manager, I get down to the first floor and the front desk is busy checking people in so I went over to the bar and asked the bartender if I could speak with a manager, he first asked if there was anything he could help me with(which I appreciated) but I told him no that I'd like to speak with a manager, so he went back to look for a manager then came out and told me that they were busy but they'd be over in a few minutes. 20 minutes go by and no manager; at this point I needed to go back upstairs and get ready so I gave him my name and room # and asked him if he could have the manager call me. Upon my return to our room, towels had just arrived along with an old and tattered bath mat? Really? Come on JW Marriott, you can do much better than that? Why would you still be circulating ratty old bath mats? (see pics) Needless to say, I have yet to speak with a manager(never even received a message) and we are heading home later this AM. I am a long time Marriott Bonvoy member and quite loyal to this brand. Unfortunately I'm just a tad disappointed with this experience and lack of response from management.

This was a hassle and still is a hassle. I expect much more from any Marriott, but especially a JW Marriott. The only people who had their stuff together were the valet and the ladies in the coffee shop. I asked before checking in to use a different card as if just received my Amex Bonvoy card & wanted to utilize the promo as well as the bonus points. I was initially told it couldn’t be done, then the manager told me it could with the form. I sent in the form and was assured that it was received and taken care of. At check-in, I inquired again and was told it would all go on my Amex. Not only did it not go onto my Amex, but it also doesn’t show my stay or points in my account anywhere. I called and texted the service line to check on it all once we checked out and the portfolio had the wrong card. U was assured that it would be corrected but it hasn’t almost a month later. My stay still doesn’t show at all on my account, either. Even without this hassle, the front desk was just lacking. They were on their phones every time I came down to the lobby. Their meal options are terrible so we had to DoorDash one evening. They didn’t bother to let us know it arrived and again were on their phones when I went down to collect it. I had to grab it from behind their stand myself as they played on their phones. I also asked for a mobile key three times before it would actually be activated. The room itself was OK. One robe and three towels for two of us seems lacking for this brand as well. I would not stay here again. The valet people were amazing, so I do want to point that out again. They were quick and always polite.

Our stay would have been 5 stars, but Corey the bartender on the first floor was absolutely the rudest person I’ve meet in the F&B industry. Management needs to coach up this team member. He’s obviously frustrated with his career and probably needs a new start in a different field which isn’t guest facing. Besides the negative experience with this Marriott employee, our stay was up to Bonvoy standards for this level of property.

What a beautiful place. The staff are wonderful, curteous and polite. The Executive Lounge ranks among the best. Amble parking spaces. The hotel situated in a great area and is walking distance to everything. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again. Good job JW Marriott.

This is a fairly new hotel with GREAT OLD FASHIONED customer service. Our stay was AMAZING! They know how to make sure everything is taken care of. From the time we valet parked our car, checked in with Bruce, had Tesafaye help with our bags, and got to our room to find a sweet birthday surprise from Yadira. Toshira in the executive lounge is incredible. She’s like a ray of sunshine in this KRAZY world. I will always use this hotel for my stays in Dallas. It’s close to everything but quiet enough to rest. Kudos for a job done with excellence.

Recently stayed at the JW Marriot in the Dallas Arts District and just absolutely loved my room and the views of downtown were absolute stunning! The pool on the 11th floor was such a vibe with a great place to hang out with children or a loved one. Margaret’s food was superb and absolute delicious and the service was phenomenal! Everyone from the Valet to the front desk staff is courteous and kind and willing to help! Room service was prompt and delicious as well! Can’t wait to go back I highly recommend your next stay or business trip make it at JW Marriott.

Impeccable staff truly makes a hotel stand out as an amazing cut above the rest! This JW Marriott Dallas Arts District does it the right way. If you are fortunate enough to experience this hotel please be sure to try and speak with Zach and/or Yadira! I hope that management takes a look at these reviews because these two members of the team are jewels, outstanding in hospitality to say the least! I recently stayed here to celebrate an occasion and the entire visit was nothing short of miraculous! This JW Marriott is a newer property with extremely nice amenities like their fitness center and executive lounge with iconic views of downtown Dallas. You can witness beautiful breathtaking views of sunrise as well as sunset from the rooftop bar area complete with outdoor heated pool with plenty of seating for many. The staff here is what makes this hotel truly something exceptional. I was greeted with a warm smile and offered complimentary bottled water each time we entered the lobby of the hotel which in Texas one can really appreciate this gesture as it goes a long way. The upgrade to one of their Museum Suites for our elite status was a very nice surprise as well as the charcuterie board complimented by bubbly! I honestly cannot find anything bad to say about this property. The navigation of the hotel could be slightly challenging for some as the entrance lobby and bar is located on the ground floor. You will then travel to the 11th floor landing area to get to the main elevators that will take you to your hotel room however this where even more magic happens! Margaret's Restaurant and Bar is located here along with the meeting and event space this hotel boasts all leading to the outdoor scenic bar and patio area for a nice unwind. We will definitely be back to stay again. Thanks again Yadira and Zach! You have earned another loyal guest!
