My wife's favourite hotel. Exceeded expectations in many areas. I feel like going back now.
The room is new, big and really comfortable. Lots of little things made us feel so good: e.g. free snacks and dessert, books for browsing, free laundry, dining table, huge TV, big window.
Now the down sides:
There are not many eateries within walking distance. But I guess you can order delivery. They deliver to your hotel room here.
It is so new that many cab drivers do not know the place.

The room is quite spacious, the bathroom is separated into wet and dry areas, and the room is very clean. The breakfast in the morning is very rich. If you go out early and miss breakfast, you can pack some bread and yogurt. There is also a fitness room and a self-service laundry room on the underground floor.

The room is clean and it is convenient to go anywhere. The ladies at the front desk are very nice and responsive. The most satisfying thing about this trip to Datong is the art of the Yungang Grottoes and the choice of this hotel. I will continue to book this hotel next time I come to Datong.

This all season hotel is close to Datong South Railway Station, which makes travel very convenient. It costs about 10-30 yuan to take a taxi to the city or attractions. When I came back at 9:00 in the evening, the front desk manager enthusiastically served me two bowls of Tremella porridge and recommended local delicacies and addresses. When I checked out the next morning, the young man took the initiative to deliver hot bottled water. The only regret was that the power supply in the room might be low-power. The power bank was only half charged overnight, and there was no uninterruptible power supply in the room. When I had breakfast, I just put the power bank at the front desk to continue charging.
