Loch Ness Country House Hotel

I literally can not say enough wonderful things about this hotel. Our family of four stayed in the garden cottage number 1 for three nights. The set up was perfect for a family: Two twin beds upstairs and one king down stairs. Full living room, kitchen, dining table and beautiful bathroom with modern shower. But the best part about the cottage was the view of Inverness. I cried when I saw it for the first time! The restaurant was delish! We ate there for 3 breakfasts and two dinners. Our family consisted of 2 dairy allergies, 1 vegan and 1 normal eater. The chef was so accommodating and they even had vegan and dairy free desserts made by a pastry chef. They had a bar and a beautiful lounge with a crackling fireplace that over looked the garden. But the absolute best part was the staff. They were amazing and so accommodating of our early excursions, frequent taxi calls and packing us to go (take away) breakfasts. Graham was AMAZING. He was so knowledgeable about everything we wanted to know about Inverness. We left feeling as though he was a dear friend! The pride that he shows in his work is visible. He really made our trip to Inverness so special. If you are staying in lnverness you MUST stay here. I can’t wait to go back. I wish I could give this hotel 20 stars.

Enjoyed a fab relaxing afternoon tea today in this gorgeous country house hotel situated a few minutes from Inverness. Lovely unusual savouries, a variety of well filled sandwiches, mouth watering cakes and scones. Very competent friendly staff and served with a smile. Would certainly recommend

Best hotel in Inverness by a mile, modern, spotless clean, cool bar/restaurant, excellent food and breakfast. Staff are all very welcoming too. Car park is busy but plenty nearby street parking if needed. Exactly the sort of hotels that Inverness needs.

We stayed here for two nights in a very nice room. Comfortable bed, but what an undignified struggle to get into it! The mattress is 33inches from the floor! Lovely country house ambience (drinks by a log fire) and the food was excellent. Friendly helpful staff. Also the hotel is quiet.Will definitely return.

The hotel is situated in lovely grounds. The food is first class. We had both evening meals and breakfast. I gave five stars mainly because of the staff. Nothing is too much trouble. All are polite and pleasant. A special mention to Lorna, Kadelle and Graham who made our stay memorable. Lovely people.

Fabulous 3 course lunch - food was superb; service excellent. Nothing too much trouble and with 1 x gluten free (coeliac) guest who was catered for expertly. Refreshing to see a hotel/restaurant so accommodating and knowledgeable. Highly recommended!

We wanted a very relaxed wedding and Chloe made it so easy from the planning to the day itself. She was great at keeping me right and giving advice. I had assumed beforehand that it would be a very expensive venue but it is very competitive with other venues in the area. Graeme was our MC and it was clear he had an enormous amount of experience. He was calm, organised and dealt with anything that arose (like a guests dress splitting open!) professionally and efficiently. I felt we could immediately trust him and he made the day run so smoothly. We had a fairly late change of plan to get married outside and the hotel made it happen easily. The food was absolutely delicious, we've had lots of compliments from it. I was particularly impressed with how they dealt with dietary requirements as my bridesmaid is Coeliac and she was able to have exactly what she chose from our menu with no changes, which is often not the case. The hotel itself is beautifully done up with a pretty function room and big spacious bedrooms. There are plenty of places for people to spread out throughout the evening which was useful for some of our older guests who wanted some peace later on! The outside balcony area was perfect for our mini pipe band entertainment between the meal and dance.

I cannot fault Loch Ness Country house hotel from start to finish with our wedding planning and big day. All the staff we do hospitable, welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Chloe made wedding planning a completely stress free experience from the moment we booked and kept in regular contact throughout our planning. We were able to relax on the day as I had complete trust that everything was taken care of. Graeme was the perfect MC and brought lots of laughs and banter with our guests. He kept the day flowing to make sure everything ran smoothly and on time. The food was incredible! Lots of guests said it was the best wedding meal they have had and I would agree. The gardens are beautiful. We were so grateful to have so much outdoor space as we had a particularly sunny weekend so we’re able to spend majority of our weekend outside. Having exclusive use all weekend was perfect as we were able to relax with our guests and feel more at home. Thank you Loch Ness Country House Hotel for hosting our perfect wedding weekend.
