Glenwood Tourist Park & Motel

Worst place Ive ever stayed at staff were smoking in the bbq kitchen area were u are not allowed to smoke 2 sets of rules for diffrant people example people drinking achole in the pool !! While owner stands there and chats away also the lady owner was rude the male staff had attitude problems also owner listening in on private conversations my self a test was having nothing to do with them terriable out of ten I rate zero neva again it’s a shame the park seems a lovely peaceful place sad really

We needed a pet friendly cabin for 1 night. Charged $160.00. Upon entry to the room it was obvious it was very overrated. The lounge was a futon that once sat on was low to sit on and springs were felt which was uncomfortable. The kitchen bench had coffee grounds around the bowl with comp. tea/coffee/sugar. The fridge had not had a wipe over on the door was countless marks. The table had several sticky marks on it. There was a sticky coffee cup stain on the bench at the end of the bed in the main bedroom. the shower had brown (I guess) shampoo residue on the tiled walls. Black hair on the floor in the bathroom.(I have blonde hair, my husband grey). the bed was very comfortable and there were clean sheets. There is an area with a roof to park your car near the door which is convenient. Beware of the very small step at the entrance door.

Tracey is the most rudest person.i rang to book and all was good till I told her I'm a local.yracey said it's their policy.i said can u send me a copy of the policy and she declined.so because I'm a local I have been discriminated against.tracey only the host not the owner.i will be looking into legal advice. Do not recommend,and if it a local it seems our money is not good enough.

A last minute decision to stop off at Grafton on our way to Queensland. Located Glenwood on Google, read the description on accommodation and found it suitable for us Making the booking over the phone couldn't have been easier Check in was as simple as it gets Our cabin, although not flash, was exactly as described, with no stench of bleach Excellent air conditioning Clean sheets and towels that weren't stiff due to excess starch The grounds were a little dry due to lack of rain, but they were well maintained and extremely clean The park was also very quiet, so we all enjoyed a sleep in.

Comfortable motel room and good value however, you need to climb a few steps with your luggage from the car. The bed was made with the sheets wrapped around the quilt which stayed in place for less than 5 minutes so it was not ideal as I’m sure the quilt is not washed after every guest. The bed was comfortable and there was enough room for our bags, and a very handy microwave, dishes and cutlery. There were a few problems with the room: The kettle couldn’t fit under the tap. The bench and table surfaces were a fabric type of material and so would be impossible to clean and not very hygienic at all. Also, we were expected to wash our own plates and cutlery, but in a tiny little sink, so I expect these are usually not cleaned very thoroughly.

The shower base had mould all through the grout, kitchen drawers fell apart when we opened them. The cabin was hot as & took 4hrs to reduce the temp at a reasonable temp. The seating were plastic stools to sit on to eat your dinner & breakfast and the lounge was one of those 1970's fold down beds which was almost on the ground in fair condition. We paid $30 extra for having 2 x dogs. The Park was no where near full & my grandson who lives in Grafton visited his g/grandparents in the same park 2yrs before & said their cabin was much nicer & they had a dog too. Staff were friendly on arrival, hence why 2 stars given.

Stayed for 4 nights in our 22ft caravan. A rather large park with cabins and a few permanents. Large sites with drive through access available on most sites. Didn't realize the park was next to the Timber Mill. Thought it might be noisy during day. It wasn't. A little bit of low sawing noise during the day but nothing too bad but we weren't there after 10am so can't comment after that time. Night times and weekends were quiet. A few rumbles of trains could be heard in the distance at night but nothing too bad. We slept very well. Amenities are tired and old but clean. We enjoyed our stay and we'd stay again. Roads inside the park need a few potholes filled up.

we stayed in the motel accommodation and the room was modern clean and spacious and we had a verhanda with table and chairs that was a bonus. it was quite and the office sold food drinks and icecreams etc. we loved it there and the owners are so friendly and helpful.

All day driving, very tired and looking for sleep; I was booked into the motel type room, which had a covered patio alongside every room, each with a small table and chairs. My adjacent young male tenants spent much of the evening outside talking loudly and it was like I was sitting at the same table with them as there was little or no sound insulation through the front. It went on until near midnight before I fell asleep. The reception is closed after business hours. Otherwise, the room was old but adequate with the biggest TV screen I have ever seen in a motel.
