I had a wonderful stay at Enhe International Youth Hostel. The room is nice and clean with warm water. They have a nice common area with sofas, books and a restaurant/bar with a view over the grassland. The staff was super helpful. They took me to go horse riding with them, let me have dinner with them (there were no other guests) and organised a shared car to my next destination. Would come back anytime!

This hostel was recommended in Lonely Planet along with several other travel blogs from Inner Mongolia and it did not disappoint. The location was fantastic as it was set a bit further out from the hustle and bustle of the main streets. The ranch sits directly beside a river and parallel with it is a walking/biking path that is perfect for pictures during golden hour and for seeing the stars at night. It would have been nice to know in advance that foreigners are required to complete their own registration at the local police station because we could have gone there straight instead, but fortunately it was only a five minute drive from the hostel and we were able to check-in without a problem. It was hot at night and the air conditioner didn't seem to work despite setting it to 19 degrees Celsius. Enhe ranch was in a great location for a day trip to Shiwei on the Russian border along with the birch forests in E'erguna on our way down to Hailar. My favorite part was the view from the bedroom--stunning!

Very beautiful, a holy place for horse riding. The sheep are a bit fierce, the rabbits are a bit cute. The boss is very nice.

Advantages: I stayed in a grass-view room, and the environment around here is pretty good. The biggest problem was that it only burned in the first half of the night, and I woke up directly in the second half of the night. The air conditioning heating is still far behind. The hostel is very primitive, with rabbits, ducks, sheep, and picturesque scenery outside. The boss personally took us along the card line. It was so cool to have a freshly cooked picnic at the Sino-Russian border. We got off the car at a beautiful place on the way to take pictures, and also went to the Shiwei Port. The whole trip was great.

The cabin is clean and tidy, very spacious, and has an electric blanket which is very warm. The owner took the friends to carpool to the Shiweika Line. The hostel has breakfast and you can share meals in the evening. It is highly recommended
