Beautiful location to breath the fresh air and enjoy the beautiful location, delicious food, and welcoming staff. Was a “layover” for me on a business trip but hope to return someday with my wife.

Property is currently undergoing renovations so this limits the outdoor areas to sit to have a drink or eat. Area where breakfast is served is very enclosed. An outdoor area in summer again would have been nice.

I LOVED this place. Property is gorgeous. And the views are beautiful.
Reading previous reviews. Now they do have coffee and tea at the reception. Food is delicious. Rooms have A/C.
People complaining about outdated looks. It's a building from the 1800s... the idea is to look like that. Rustic, charming. With that old historic character.
Plus i loved both roads to going back and from the hotel. One is really really narrown and kind of precarious. Great for fun spirited driving (you need to know what you are doing) the other one (the longer one) it's much much easier but still fun and beautiful. From the road to the food and the Property itself. This place is totally worthy.

The place could be splendid but suffers from poor maintenance and overall vision. Thus the dusty and gravelly surface of the parking lot up to reception which prevents you from rolling your suitcase but allows you to dirty clothes and bags placed on the ground. The rooms are extremely dated and sad with little light. Not a bottle in the mini bar, not a glass available. You should drink lukewarm water from the tap if you are thirsty. The swimming pool below is ok. The furniture is salvaged from the tennis courts at Bologna airport...gloomy. The hotel opens its swimming pool to outside people. So there are people during the day. But this makes for a pleasant clientele because it is another aspect of Palazzo Loup: the clientele is generally very old. We thought we were arriving in an EHPAD. The staff is cold, administrative. At the reception and at breakfast. Note that while visiting the park we came across an old cistern whose access door was not closed; Fall of 10 meters guaranteed for an intrepid child. In short, a hotel very far from the idyllic vision that the website addresses.

Struttura sulle colline bolognesi, luogo immerso nella natura, abbiamo trovato un oasi di pace e il personale è stato disponibile e cortese come si racconta che siano da queste parti, di sicuro l’hotel dove ho dormito meglio! lontano dalla città e con il risveglio del canto degli uccellini..un sogno che vorrei non finisse ( e anche la pizzeria che c’è all’interno fa delle ottime pizze ed ha pure una bella vista con tramonto !)

Esperienza molto positiva, location bellissima inserita in un verde con alberi secolari, camere comode, pulite e molto luminose, alla reception personale sempre sorridente e disponibile, ristorante con atmosfera accogliente, con personale gentile e molto professionale, cucina eccezionale, mi sono permesso di fare i complimenti allo chef, la SPA semplicemente stupend , pulizia, gentilezza, relax e professionalità.
