Hilton Garden Inn Flint Downtown

The room and hotel was great. I don’t like that you do have to pay.$20 per day for parking or you will need to use the city parking but you can’t park over night as city parking expires at midnight. The location has no pool but has a nice roof top. Drinks were pretty reasonable. Over all it was nice.

Main complaints are they didn't give me the room I reserved. They gave me a lower grade room for a higher price. I have a service dog but I don't know if that was the reason. Normally I leave him in the car until after checking I but this time I couldn't do to the fact they have no parking there. You either pay valet $20.00 or you have to drive across the street and park there for $5.00. I picked valet but told the guy that it had a handicap permit and he said there was an open spot in the lot attached to hotel. I told him I'd need something out of it later and was assured he'd bring my car up anytime I wanted it as that was included. So later when I went to get what I needed I was told valet went home and I'd have to go get it myself. While come to find out they had taken it across the street and parked it on the 3rd level. They didn't know what level it was on so I had to walk each level pressing the remote constantly. On top of that the elevator doesn't work at the parking structure so someone 71 years old with a service dog for mobility has a bit of a problem with that....anyway as you've probably figured I'm not at all impressed with the hotel.

Valet left my car doors unlocked and a lot of my items were stolen!! The worst experience ever! Also I had to go get my own vehicle because all of the valet staff called off smh never ever again!!! Only people made the stay ok was Chris at the front desk and Di at the bar!! Everyone else was terrible!

This hotel surpassed all expectations, of what I had in mind going to a hotel in Flint, Michigan. Modern, spacious (although some rooms were bigger than others of the same sorts). Absolutely would recommend this to anyone coming into town. 10/10

The Hosts at check in and checkout were amazing, helpful and caring. I did have issues with the restaurant cleanliness and management . Manager was rude staff was just standing around.

The staff is like staying at a 5 star hotel. Everything about our stay was 5 star. The night staff at the front desk, our bartender, John and the restaurant manger( we did not get her name). The beds were incredible. Rooms clean. Couldn’t not have asked for more.

Top class hotel. Super clean and cozy. Friendly and accomodating staff. I can not wait to stay again!

What a wonderful hotel. Staff was friendly. Food in the restaurant was good. Overall great stay.
