The room is clean and the location is close to the train station. The sisters are very nice and helpful.

Such a calming place to stay. The nuns were so friendly and kind and listening to them singing was a dream! Basic but comfortable rooms, cleaned daily with new towels provided. Gorgeous garden to sit and relax in. Close walk to all attractions.

Great stay! Very friendly and helpful front desk. The hall way where the rooms are may seem a little creepy since it’s almost pitch black throughout the day, but it was a nice stay overall. They had water bottles in our room for us and clean towels and bed sheets everyday. The bed is technically two twin size beds put together, but I believe that’s something that’s common out in Italy. Easy 5 min walk from the main terminal in Florence and about a 5 min walk to the Duomo.

I enjoyed how easy it was to contact them, check in and check out. As first time solo traveler it made the experience so much better.

Easy access from airport to Fortezza metro. 2 mins walk to the sisters. Immaculate peaceful and welcoming. Yes it was /is a convent. The place says that. It’s Italy. Lovely warm cosy room with fab AC/ heating. Both. Great shower and bathroom Huge calm peaceful garden. Good coffee and breakfast provided. Note. In Italy they gave an Italian breakfast. Sisters are so lovely. Sing early morning. And evening. It’s like angels drifting everywhere with kindness and care. Wonderful location and on bus /tram route to everywhere. Airport. Station Absolutely recommend. And such a peaceful welcoming place.

Very clean and spacious rooms, serviced every day with fresh towels and remade beds, communal kitchen areas and English TV channels. Hotel run by nuns who are polite and friendly, always with a smile on their faces :-) Location great and close to S.M.N. station, downtown Florence a 15 min walk.

It feels very overpriced for what you get. No outlets in bathroom for electric razor or hair dryer. Beds sqeaky and uncomfortable. No coffee maker. We stayed 3 nights and towels never changed and had to ask for drinking water.
Very stark environment. Not a hotel feeling Nuns who run front desk were very nice from Indonesia and Vietnam. Rooms clean.

The sisters here were very helpful and kind.
You can walk to most sight seeing in 10-30 minute.
If other hotel guests are loud you can hear everything.
And we could not stop the mosquitos from getting in no matter how hard we tried.
For the price it is definitely convenient and the staff are kind but keep in mind it's and older hotel and some things come along with that!
