The hotel is in an excellent location, next to the Cathedral of Santa Maria Novella and a few minutes' walk from the train station. It is also very close to the Central Market, and there are many Asian supermarkets nearby. The Vietnamese rice noodles from Jia Yifang are very delicious. It only takes five or six minutes to walk to Baihua Church.
The hotel's service is friendly. When checking in, the front desk proactively informed the room that the snacks and drinks in the minibar are free and will be replenished if you extend your stay. It's rare to encounter such a generous hotel.
The restaurant on the fifth floor of the hotel is a joy, and you can overlook the top of the Baihua Church. In fact, the hotel also has a rooftop garden restaurant, but it may not be open for use because it is the off-peak tourist season. But there is an elevator, and guests can go directly to the rooftop garden to enjoy the view. After checking Google, we found that the restaurant on the top floor had good ratings. Unfortunately, there were no vacancies for the second night we booked.
The hotel is a 19th-century building, and some rooms inside are still being renovated. But the renovated lobby and rooms are quite charming and practical.
