The hotel is at a very good location. All the high end boutique, MyZeil and other shops are just a few minutes walk away. Food and bakery are abundance around this area. The hotel surrounding is so quiet and we had a good sleep. We do not have to worry about bringing our own amenities as the hotel provides them in the room (such as shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, body lotion as well as a hair dryer to use). Also, Goethe-Haus, Fountain of Justice and Kaiserdom St Bartholomäus are just within walking distance too. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you are in Frankfurt for just a few days.

Conveniently located in the city centre, Ruby is just a short walk away from the metro, a big shopping mall and about 20 min from the main train station. The loft room is spacious; I had reservations about the bathroom having only glass walls - not leaving much privacy - but curtains are pretty thick. However, they aren’t blackout ones (which would be difficult by design) so you not only hear another person using the shower but also see the lights. The rooftop bar is nice and cosy, be if for breakfast in the morning (didn’t avail of it) or cocktails later in the day.

I really liked the atmosphere. The rooms are good, but the size of our room was not what was promised when we booked. The staff is friendly, but I would have liked the hotel to inform me that there was an event the next day and that the underground car park had to be vacated before 9am. The drinks in the bar are average, I think they are a bit overpriced for the quality.

The hotel is located next to a shopping street. The nearest one is Prada. Check-in is on the sixth floor. The bar on the ground floor is indeed a bit noisy, but it is bearable. Super nice and clean hotel... but I found the service... or rather the general concept of the hotel strange. I have to say for this money you can stay somewhere else and maybe get a bottle of water for free... strange concept... I probably won't book Ruby again. No minibar & no telephone in the room No cotton pads or anything like that, nothing except towels and soap etc. (at least) Self check-in at the reception with staff but actually the staff don't feel like it or have to make coffee and can't work the reception but somehow the self-check-in counter with tablets counts as the reception... As I said, the concept is not my thing...
