Excellent view

The room you reserve thru you does not give a very important option. The lake view. When making the reservation, it is never mentioned. When I arrived here, I was told all reservations thru you will no be given that choice. It is important to add it as it makes a big difference.

It is recommended to choose a room with a balcony facing the lake. We lived in Building 5, which is very close to the lake. It is comfortable overall. It was off-season when we went there, so there were few people and we could play freely on the snow. Transportation: I chartered a car from Prague to the Mondi Hotel. If you are only playing in Austria or the lake area, it is best to go there from Linz and Salzburg as a transfer station. It is also very convenient to get from the Mondi Hotel to Hallstatt. Take the bus to the town at the foot of the mountain, and then take the obb to Hallstatt. It takes about an hour, mainly depending on the connection time between the bus and the railway. I feel that this place is much more beautiful than Hallstatt. Hallstatt is surrounded by mountains. You can see the lake from a high place here, and it is not very commercialized. It is worth playing.

The hotel is close to Grundlsee and has an excellent location. It is very, very quiet. The hotel restaurant is also very good. This night was the most comfortable night in the entire lake area. Next time I have the opportunity to come to the lake area again, I will choose to stay here!

Austrians act like they owe money to someone else. The front desk staff has a terrible face, and the restaurant staff is not very good either. They don't even say hello when you greet them. This hotel is too far from the most beautiful area in Hallstatt. After getting off the Hallstatt Hbf and taking a boat to the town of Hallstatt, there was not even a taxi available, so it was impossible to get to this hotel. It's winter. Forget it. There are cooking facilities and tableware in the room. If you want to cook by yourself, you can buy the ingredients in advance. When I opened the door in the morning, the view of the lake shrouded in morning mist was really beautiful. Breakfast food is rich. There are many parking spaces, and the farthest location is not too far from the room.

Because the popular Hallstatt hotel was fully booked, I had to book this place. It was totally unexpected. It was so beautiful! And so quiet! Highly recommended!
