Mandarin Oriental Guangzhou

We stayed at Mandarin Oriental Guangzhou for three nights and honestly loved it. I told them it was our honeymoon, and they gave us a room on the highest floor with an amazing city view. Housekeeping kept the room super clean and always updated, so it felt really taken care of. One thing I really liked — there’s a little delivery section in the room where all my online orders were placed, so everything was easy to find. Overall, the room was super comfy, great for the two of us, and totally worth the money. Would definitely stay again.

I stayed at Mandarin Oriental Guangzhou for one night and overall had a pleasant experience. The room was spacious, clean and beautifully designed, although the TV size and limited channel selection could be improved. I also received a complimentary room upgrade, which I appreciated, but the room was quite close to the tunnel, so some noise could still be heard at night. The staff were detailed, friendly and very helpful throughout my stay. During checkout, the front desk even checked on my staying experience and noted down my feedback in their system for future stays, which I found thoughtful. The location is excellent, directly connected to Taikoo Hui and the MRT station, which made getting around very convenient. One downside was the spa voucher included in my stay package. Due to my tight schedule, I wasn’t able to use it, so I requested to exchange it for breakfast instead, but the hotel was unable to accommodate the request. It would be great if the voucher usage could be more flexible in the future. Overall, a comfortable stay with great service and convenience, with just a few points that could be improved.
