Kikkiso restaurant is the most disappointing as the quality is so average compared with the premium price it charges.

Great hotel with long history . Enjoy the environment and services . There is also museum about the hotel

Nice service! English level of the staff is good. The western meal is good, especially the soup. The hot spring is good and I felt good with the skin. I left on the Valentine’s Day, I received a gift of a chocolate biscuit from the front reception of the hotel. I hope I will visit the hotel again.

Hotel is very beautiful, the historical vibe is very iconic. Suggest to stay in the japanese style rooms as it gives better vibes. Garden has quite a bit of sakura blooming. Very spacious room. Around 30 usd to cab up from train station.

Very nice hotel with a good onsen and nice architecture

One of the best I have ever stayed. Can’t be picky on it! They have everything at the top standard - service, facilities, staffs, food etc. The hotel itself can already be a touristy spot for half to one day, given it’s a historical building with stories. Highly recommended!

Booked Fujiya Hotel, a century-old hotel, ate at Kikukaso, both are very exquisite, the service attitude is good, polite and patient, the scenery outside the window is beautiful, like your own back garden, it is worth a rest

Except for the high price for my spending power, there is no disadvantage. The courtyard is also very beautiful, and the designer understands the essence of the beauty of oriental gardens.

The room is simple and exquisite, the service is excellent, and there is a car to take you to Miyanoshita Station for free. As for food, just eat for experience, it is not recommended to buy food for more than 2 days.

Please see the previous article for detailed hotel reviews. I booked the room separately because I had to leave the hotel early to go to Kawaguchiko, so I placed an order without breakfast. I took the bus outside the hotel into the mountains to play for most of the day. I had dinner at Morimeshi next to Miyanoshita station. It was delicious and highly recommended.
