On a recent trip to Hanoi, my stay at the King's Ensemble SPA Hotel was absolutely fantastic! The hotel is housed in an old French colonial building, exuding a strong Indochinese charm, and looks incredibly captivating from the outside. Stepping into the lobby, the exquisite decor immediately caught my eye, giving it a very stylish and sophisticated feel. I booked a windowless room and was initially worried it might feel a bit claustrophobic, but to my surprise, the room was impeccably clean with no hint of dampness or musty odors whatsoever, making for a very comfortable stay. The TV was a Samsung with excellent picture quality, perfect for relaxing and watching shows in the evening. The service from the staff here is simply outstanding. From the front desk to the restaurant, everyone spoke excellent English, making communication seamless. The restaurant even had staff who spoke Chinese, which was a thoughtful touch. We arrived quite early, and since there was an available room, the staff kindly allowed us to check in early. Initially, I had a bit of trouble figuring out how to use the hot water tap, and they immediately dispatched a technician to assist me – their efficiency was impressive! You absolutely *must* visit the sky bar on the hotel's top floor! The views are incredible, offering stunning panoramic cityscapes. What's more, the prices are very reasonable. Enjoying a drink while feeling the evening breeze up there is pure bliss. Breakfast was also excellent, with a special menu each day, and I left feeling very satisfied. The hotel's location is also incredibly convenient, right by Hoan Kiem Lake. It's very close to the Old Quarter and the 36 Streets, all within easy walking distance. Right next door is a popular beef noodle shop, and just a short stroll away are the famous Uniqlo flagship store in a historic building and St. Joseph's Cathedral, making it incredibly convenient for dining, shopping, and sightseeing. Overall, my stay at King's Ensemble SPA Hotel was truly exceptional. Next time I visit Hanoi, I will definitely choose to stay here again!

The location is great! The lake and the old town are about 3-5 minutes away, there is a convenience store right in front of the hotel, and there is a Miyake supermarket, cafes, and restaurants near the hotel. All the staff are very kind. There is a smoking area in front of the hotel entrance. I stayed with a friend for two nights. Disadvantages I chose this hotel because it was listed as [Newly built in 2023] on Trip.com, the photos were beautiful, and it had an elevator. However, will it be renovated in 2023? I wonder... The wallpaper looks hand-painted. The building and facilities look old no matter how you look at it. The room has a handmade ventilation fan and it is cold. It's common in Vietnam, but in old facilities, the toilet pipes smell a little... And there is no elevator to the room! ! ! ! The staff carried my luggage up to the third floor, but it was difficult to take the carry-on down when I checked out. I was able to take a Grab taxi from the airport, but it seems that the name was changed when it was renovated, so if I copy the address on Trip.com, I will arrive at a different location. It's close, though. On Google, there is a [Walking Something Hotel? 】 to get the address. There is a new hotel called 【MARO Hotel】 next to it, so it's probably best to use that address to find the hotel. I thought it was a new hotel when I got out of the taxi, so I went to that hotel first, and it was clean and the staff were very new. And when I tried to call for Grab when I was leaving, it wasn't in a location where I could call for it, so I had to push my carrier right and walk about 300 meters to the left and come out onto a road full of big motorbikes, so it was quite a struggle on the way back... It was a good location for sightseeing, though.

Location is good, convenient to 36 Ancient Street and Hoan Kiem Lake Scenic Area

The best thing about this hotel were the staff who were brilliant. Excellent English speaking and really helpful. There are two buildings and we were in the ‘second’ one. Only a few steps to the other hotel for breakfast in the morning. Breakfast had the normal offerings and was good. Our room was top floor with a good sized balcony. Biggest problem was that the room was small and there was no space to leave cases out or unpack. It was clean and service d daily. Lift was slow but got there - a walk up from the 6th to 7th floor

Good location, there are many choices for eating and coffee shops nearby, very good shopping, staying on the seventh floor of the top floor when checking in, so it is very quiet, the equipment is very new, the air conditioner is very cold, sleep well all night, the counter waiter is very good, the waitress on duty in the afternoon is very responsible for dealing with the problems I encountered, I will stay again next time I come to Hanoi and recommend it to travelers who want to stay near Hoanjian Lake.

Rooms are small. Location is fantastic. Ask Percy for food and Spa recommendations. Was initially unhappy over the rooms not being together and 1 was just right below the below. But he redeemed it by recommending us a very good restaurant MET and Spa just right opposite the hotel. Would recommend single or friends trip to stay in this hotel.

Enthusiastic staff, Convenient location, a few steps to Hoan Kiem Lake, Ta Hien Street... However, the room is quite small, the furniture is quite old, the sheets and blankets are probably used for too long, I see that they are black and not white, the bed is also quite small

When I booked this hotel in Vietnam, I was a bit hesitant after reading the online reviews, and my expectations weren't high. However, the actual experience far exceeded my expectations! The staff's service was absolutely outstanding: Upon arrival and check-in, a staff member proactively came out to greet me and even kindly helped with my luggage. Throughout my stay, wherever I stopped, they proactively asked if I needed any assistance, their attitude was warm but not overly so. When I left, they also offered a warm farewell, each with a truly heartwarming touch. Even more surprising was the staff's excellent English skills, making communication seamless, and their humorous conversations were truly engaging and engaging. The dining experience was also very satisfying. Breakfast was available on a la carte basis, as well as a simple buffet. Even the waitress who served the food spoke a few words of English, which was very convenient. This stay completely changed my impression of local service, and I truly felt that Vietnam's international service level was much higher than I had imagined. Highly recommended! The room was clean. #1 Price: I have stayed in many locations in old town because I like to move around and experience different settings. At this price point; this hotel by far (after 3 different hotels) is the best choice for your hard earned money. Location: Excellent; 25 seconds walk from lake and close to all the attractions of old town. Really doesn’t get any better than this. Room: Everything works. -Large New smart TV with Netflix and YouTube -Fast WiFi/internet (can remote work) -(High ceiling and spacious) (I’m 5’8 ;see photos for reference) Many hotels around the area cut corners and make their rooms small and ceilings low to save space which can make you feel claustrophobic after a day or two. “Very important after a day out in old town with all the tight spaces / crowds and chaos.” -(Barely any street noise inside room; I’m sensitive to noise and slept like a baby) -Room cleaned everyday by staff. +Bonus points for the versatile lighting inside room; 8 different switches for different lighting options. ((Hotel Staff)) Available 24 hours Young and eager to help; very knowledgeable speaking many different languages and knows the town very well. (Don’t underestimate these young men and women.) I have never seen such hard working young individuals who have no other intention but to help you have the best stay at this establishment. (Special shout out) to “Denny” who ran out in the pouring rain to help me find my car ride to the airport because we were running late. Conclusion; Stop wasting time reading this review and book this hotel before the rooms are all taken; I was lucky to find a room since they’re mostly always booked.
