Fairfield Inn & Suites Helen

This hotel was right on the edge of Alpine Helen. If you take a car from here to the main area of Helen in no traffic it’s two minutes. Walking is about 10-15 minutes. The room was cozy and quiet. The shower was a decent size. The staff was warm and friendly. Their indoor pool is very small, but towels are provided. Their gym is also small and has ellipticals, treadmills, and free weights and provides towels, paper towels, and cleaning spray for the equipment. Good to keep a basic work out routine during the holiday! Breakfast was simple, not too many options, but they offered some gluten-free choices and when o asked for more fresh fruit they brought out some bananas. I’d stay here again! Good price, clean, and nice people!

Love that it’s close to downtown, very clean hotel and nice rooms

Very friendly staff & they were knowledgeable about the area. The rooms were very comfortable with the adjustable thermostat. The hotel is further from Helen Square than the other comparable hotels but it was a nice walk! We did unfortunately hear a lot of banging and noises from guests coming in and out of rooms but it wasn’t bad enough for low stars.

We arrived late and had hiked all day. So just wanted shower and bed. Room was 74 degrees- hot. No wash cloths , sink was stopped up. Showered with a hand towel and went to bed.

Right in the middle of town. Clean. Friendly staff. Great size room. Will stay here again for sure.

Clean hotel, friendly and helpful staff (Front desk, maids, etc). Enjoyed the free breakfast, way better than most! Indoor pool was nice! (Needed to be warmer though) location was ok, it was cold so it was a challenging walking into main shopping area!

It was an overall excellent experience. My wife and I were there for leisure. The young lady who assisted with morning breakfast was phenomenal, as well. Everything was well prepared, clean, and hot. Thank you all so much. Hopefully we will make it back down to stay in the future.

Very clean and the rooms are vell apportioned. Easy parking and a good breakfast. About a mile from downtown Helen, so walkability is not great. But I would definitely stay there again

It was very nice and clean. Hotel are gearing toward saving the environment which I like a lot. Nice place to stay in Helen, a little out of the main action (only 0.6 miles away) but not so bad.
