The room was quite small; we had to store our suitcases under the bed to avoid blocking the walk space. However, the hotel's facilities are relatively new, and the shower pressure was excellent – a definite highlight. The city view from our room was nothing special. A set of toiletries (including toothbrushes) cost 10 RMB, which covered supplies for two people. The complimentary water bottles had glass caps that were quite difficult to open; it would be helpful if they provided a traditional bottle opener. The staff were polite, and the room was cleaned very thoroughly.

I received a complimentary upgrade to a tatami room on a weekday, which was a nice gesture. However, I must point out that the standard room I originally booked was priced at over 1500 for the second night, and I personally feel that 1500-2000 would be a more fitting price point for a tatami room. The location is excellent; it's convenient for getting around, and there's ample space for taxis or ride-sharing services to stop. Cleanliness: Average. Tatami mats are notoriously difficult to maintain, and there were some stains on the Roman blinds. More concerningly, I found some black spots on the bed (likely residue from the washing machine). Environment: The design was aesthetically pleasing, but surprisingly, the tatami room lacked any seating. Sitting directly on the tatami mat is very low, and without a proper chair or table, I had to stand to do my makeup. This isn't very comfortable for knees or joints. While I appreciate the unique experience of a tatami room, I suggest they provide at least some low stools or similar seating options. Service: Good, especially considering I received a complimentary upgrade. Facilities: I must comment on the automatic curtains. I was actually woken up in the middle of the night by the distinct sound of someone else's curtains closing, which I could hear very clearly. This indicates that the soundproofing is quite poor.

The hotel is conveniently located in Wan Chai, surrounded by numerous dining, entertainment, and shopping options. The lobby is on the third floor, with the restaurant on the second. The decor is clean and modern. Breakfast wasn't included. The room itself was a bit on the small side, and many amenities, such as toiletries, weren't provided – reportedly due to local regulations, which is understandable. On the bright side, a universal adapter was provided. Overall, it was acceptable.
