I don't like giving negative reviews but in this case I must make an exception. The positives were
very clean rooms, very helpful staff, comfortable beds, and large tv.
However if you expect a pen and pad of paper in the room, or glasses or even plastic cups, or a coffee maker, or a real breakfast (as advertised), or a canopy over the entrance so you can unload out of the weather, a bar of soap that doesn't feel like a piece of wood, a counter near the bathroom sink, and the bath towels not stacked on a pallet on the floor near the toilet- if you expect any of these, you will be disappointed. My wife thought the room was decorated in "Early Minimalist" style. It did not seem welcoming.
The front desk lady told me it was their policy to be different from other motels. I don't fault her but they need to do a better job of describing their differences in their advertising. I paid a little extra to get a more upscale facility. I was quite disappointed.
