The location is good, near the train station. While the soundproofing isn't great, the beds are all quite nice, and the space is very spacious and comfortable. Perhaps because it's newly opened, everything is relatively tidy and clean now, but I'll have to check that later. Also, because it's new, some facilities aren't fully set up yet, but in my experience, the staff are helpful and willing to resolve issues. Finally, there are only three shower stalls for about twenty people; one more would be better. I recommend it to other visitors to Edinburgh.

In principle, not everything so bad, waiting was worse. Even managed to sleep. At 2:00 a.m. somebody came and woke up with his noise, nobody was insured against it

We stayed twice at the Riccarton Inn. It's traditional with a pub up front and rooms at the back. Very clean and the staff was helpful and friendly. This is not a hotel chain but an individual inn. The rooms are not new, nor full of modern amenities as some would require. The mattress was creeky. Nevertheless, if you want a truly Scottish experience full of authentic ambiance, you cannot beat Riccarton. We ate breakfast and dinner in the inn and found them delicious. Had to hop on a couple of buses to get there from the airport, but that was part of the fun!

Fantastic experience! I stayed in a 10-person room, which was very spacious, and the bathrooms and toilets were all very clean! The staff provided excellent service, and I was able to store my luggage both before and after check-in. They even noticed it was my birthday and gave me a voucher! 🥰 Plus, the breakfast was great! Overall, a wonderful experience 🫶

Have you ever spent the night in an old church? Here is the place. Somehow the old church vibe is super cozy. The location is central and Dean Village is just a 5-min walk. The staff (Ciprian) was very nice. Overall the room lived up to my expectations. Highly recommended!

Great location for a concert in Usher Hall. Good price, clean and helpful staff.
