"First off, to all the 'princes and princesses' leaving negative reviews: this is a hostel that costs mere tens of yuan a night. Don't compare it to the five-star hotels you usually stay in, where you expect top-notch service and facilities. Why don't you dare give those five-star places a bad review when they don't even have a bathtub for you to splash around in? If there are reasonable shortcomings, mention them so the owner can gradually improve. Don't just casually leave a bad review. This second location is actually pretty good. You can chill every day. The beds are clean, and that's what matters. Also, be aware that some people with sticky fingers might stay here, so keep an eye on your belongings. You can't blame the hostel for that."

AAnonymous UserThis was my second time booking an all-female dorm, and it was very clean and comfortable.
However, that's just the nature of hostels – your experience isn't just about the facilities and service, but also largely depends on your roommates.
Unfortunately, on the night of May 4, 2016, in the female dorm, some girls were playing short videos on their phones without headphones. Then, two other Chinese girls excitedly chatted loudly in Mandarin until 11:30 PM. They then proceeded to shower and blow-dry their hair until past midnight. You could hear their showering, chatting, loud laughter, and hair-drying from floors above and below at that late hour. It was truly embarrassing. They clearly have no regard for public etiquette. As a Chinese girl myself, I felt incredibly ashamed and embarrassed by their behavior. In the future, I'll remember to choose hostels that are less frequented by Chinese travelers. It's a real shame.

HHiba__Amazing hostel. Clean beds and bathrooms. Making breakfast in the morning was very enjoyable. Also they have activities in the weekend with free food and you get to meet people so amazing. The location is little bit far from action but metro is close about 10 min walk and can get you anywhere.

GGuest UserThis is a youth hostel, and we were traveling with our parents. Although there wasn't a kettle in the room, there's one on the first floor where you can get hot water for free. There's also a security gate on each floor, which makes it very safe – people who aren't staying here can't go up. There's no elevator, but the staff were really enthusiastic and helped us carry our luggage upstairs, which we really appreciated! The family room had an inner window, so ventilation wasn't great, but it was nice and quiet. The overall decor is very new and the style is simple. The common areas are quite well-equipped, with a kitchen, laundry room, dining area, tea tables and chairs, and computers. The front desk offers 24-hour service. There's a 400 deposit, which the staff returns after checking the room at checkout.

SSTUART GOODALLBeat Warii has become the place to beat for me here in Bangkok. First and foremost, it offers great value and that counts for everything.
The location on the riverside is central, convenient and scenic with a constant kaleidoscope of things happening right outside. You have access to piers, boats, buses and e-hailing services/cabs.
The famous temples and most beautiful Watsuttiwaram and Yannawa are within working distance, and the world's most beautiful Mall (IconSiam)is a very short boat ride away for a minimal amount, but you can choose to walk there too. Asiatique the entertainment and riverfront development is within easy reach and offers complimentary transport via boat or shuttle. The area around the Hostel houses the largest fish market and seafood buffet restaurant. Within a few minutes' walk is a multitude of local places to eat that offer unique cuisine as well a selection of international food as well. The Hostel has a basketball court, laundry and ironing facilities, lots of space over 7 Floors, co-walking areas, lockers for shoes and valuable, capsule type dormitory beds, private rooms, a shared kitchen space, social areas, a cozy roof top with wow views, branded merchandize, places to hang and dry clothes, good AC and fans throughout, Comfy linen (crisp white duvets and sheets/pillows and a towel), adequate lights and plugs at bedside, laminated flooring, bean bags to chill, dedicated smoking space, local cats to play with, filtered water (hot and cold) , complimentary coffee all day, storage space for luggage, no refundable deposits requested, good maintenance, great showers and toilets throughout and staff that is professional, helpful, kind and friendly. There are no elevators, but this provides a daily workout for you. There is generally a good vibe and a nice mix of international guests around and yes, you can walk to a few Seven 11's easily as well as Little Big C. Yes, there is a fishy smell outside and it feels very local and wet in the surrounding area, but it does not affect your stay or experience at the actual Hostel, and it adds character to the entire environment. For where it is and the quality and selection of services and features you receive, Beat Warii is the best choice overall.

Anyway, there’s no check it my case (a late check in), you just take a key and go. No working locks in the room, unless you bring your own lock. The kitchen is dirty, trash bin outside the kitchen, kettle didn’t work, ants on everything surface in the kitchen.
But location is nice. Room is ok.

AAnonymous UserIt's decent, this is my second stay. The air conditioning is definitely the best part, running 24/7. It's also super convenient, being close to Chulalongkorn Night Market. Aside from some front desk staff having a so-so attitude, there's really not much to complain about.

AAnonymous UserGood value for the price. The room was simple but clean and everything worked as expected. WiFi was fast and reliable throughout the stay, which made a big difference. There’s a restaurant on the ground floor that’s convenient and serves decent food, especially after a long day out. Location near Khao San Road is great if you want to be close to everything. a solid option for the budget with no major issues.

GGuest UserOverall Experience: This hotel is a decent option, especially if you want to escape the city's hustle and bustle. The rooftop room I booked was incredibly spacious and cozy, perfect for a relaxing night even when it rained. The location is a bit tricky, with no parking and a narrow alleyway leading to the entrance, but it's worth it for the peace and quiet.
The highlight was definitely the rooftop room. It felt so open and comfortable. However, the open-air bathroom might not be for everyone, especially if you're shy. For me, it was completely fine. Just be aware there’s no elevator, and if you’re on the 6th floor like I was, be ready for a bit of a climb! Bringing snacks and drinks up with you is a good idea to avoid going up and down too often. The view from the top floor room was absolutely amazing. It was a great reward after the climb. haha!
P.s..I’d recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a unique and quiet experience and doesn't mind a bit of a workout to get to their room. The view and the rooftop room are fantastic. :)

GGuest UserI stayed for one night because of its relative proximity to the direct line to Suvarnabhumi Airport.
Pros:
- Clean, no mold.
- Fresh, clean bedding.
- Breakfast included (though breakfast starts at 8 AM, and I had to leave at 7 AM, so I missed it).
- Price (780 rubles for a spacious triple room).
- Excellent air conditioning. Often in such hostels, the AC barely blows, and it's programmed to one temperature. Here, everything was fine.
- The room had great blackout curtains, a large floor-to-ceiling window, and a balcony.
- The reception sells drinking water for 10 baht for 1.5L. Convenient.
Cons:
- Location (not very easy to find, and Google Maps is useless, unlike Yandex).
- The balcony door lock was broken and couldn't be secured.
- Shower stalls with doors that open INWARD! I (a man weighing 90 kg and 185 cm tall, without a belly) simply couldn't fit into one of them! So, if you're on the heavier side, you might not even be able to get in.
- In the morning, there was no water on the second floor! If one person is showering, the water pressure in the others will be non-existent. I went to the third floor – everything was fine there. The pressure was like a waterfall, and the heaters were working (they weren't working on the second floor where I stayed).
- 500 baht deposit. A bit much for this type of guesthouse; they usually ask for 200-300.
So, decide for yourself, but you'd be hard-pressed to find a triple room for this price elsewhere.
