This property is very well maintained and rooms are clean, and very well-appointed with the needed comforts. We truly applaud the attention-to-detail and effort that the husband-and-wife owners have put into this bed-and-breakfast property. We arrived as it started to get colder and truly appreciated the warm heating in the rooms. Fantastic warm showers. An amazing bonus amenity was the electric toilets! We are also thankful to the lady boss for highlighting the first Huangshan Peak snow-fall on our last day of stay! Upon her encouragement we decided an impromptu climb up Huangshan a second time. We were glad we did! The snow scenery at Huangshan peak was AMAZING. THANK YOU!

This stay truly exceeded my expectations! The owner's dedication and thoughtfulness were evident in every detail, from booking to check-out. The room was spotless and tidy, decorated in a cozy and unique style. The location was fantastic, and after a day of exploring, the owner's personal pick-up and drop-off service made us feel completely at home and relaxed. The owner also recommended some local restaurants that offered great value for money and served absolutely delicious food. What truly stood out was the owner's incredible warmth and attentiveness! They made our group of four feel a familial warmth, even in an unfamiliar city. Our trip was made truly special thanks to your guesthouse, and we'll definitely stay here again on our next visit!

I have only good things to say about my one night stay. I had an excellent time at this bed and breakfast as a solo tourist visiting the Huangshan mountain. I consider myself an experienced world traveler and can confidently say the owner of this BnB is among the kindest and most patient people you could find in the hospitality and tourism industry. Although she doesn’t speak much English, she will find any way possible to help you and make sure you have a comfortable stay. My room was a smoking room but the owner opened the windows (this was in mid April so the temperature was quite mild) so the smell did not bother me that much. There is a very nice shower in the room with good water pressure. The bed and mattress are great. The owner kept my bags in her storage for one night after I checked out so I could go up to Huangshan mountain (I spent one night up in the mountain and then returned to her BnB to pickup my bags an leave town). The owner also is a great cook! And if you are a tea lover, make sure you try/buy her tea (she has a tea farm and picks the tea leaves herself) as this region is famous for its green tea. I would love to come back one day, hopefully with my family or friends.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel during my trip to Huangshan and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and incredibly cosy—equipped with everything I needed, from toiletries to bottled water. One of the highlights was the convenient and affordable transportation the hotel arranged to and from Huangshan North Railway Station. At just 35 RMB during the day and 40 RMB at night per person, it was significantly cheaper than ride-hailing options, which cost about 130 RMB at night. The service was amazing as the staff were warm, helpful, and welcoming from the moment I arrived. During check-in, the receptionist patiently explained the best route to take on the mountain and even shared helpful recommendations. I also appreciated the little touches, like being able to borrow walking sticks for free, which saved me from having to buy one. The location is excellent too—just a 10-minute walk to the Huangshan South Gate Entrance bus station, with a view of Huangshan right from the hotel. There is also a massage place and supermarket just a minute away, and the hotel has a restaurant which serves truly delicious food. Overall, this hotel made my Huangshan trip so much more comfortable and enjoyable.

This is a beautiful hotel located in a quiet area beside the Jade Valley. There is a small convenience store in front, not many eateries around but as we had all our meals in the hotel it wasn’t a problem. There is only the sound of birds chirping and running river, none of the incessant honking and noisy traffic in Tangkou. The meals prepared by the owners are very delicious, make sure you book ahead if you want to have lunch or dinner there. The breakfast included in the room was also a generous spread, so much so we could takeaway leftovers to eat on our Huangshan climb. The room is spotlessly clean and very comfortable, and the proprietress kindly gave us a larger room that was available on the second floor, saving my mum from climbing to the third floor. Do note that laundry is not self service here. We were surprised that the lady boss had to wash and help us to hang it out to dry before collecting it again in the evening for us, and also felt bad for troubling her as she is already handling everything else in the hotel. She also kindly arranged for a driver to pick us up and send us to the train station. And helped to send us to the bus terminal to Huangshan. Just remember to hop off at the 逍遥溪 stop on the way back as it’s nearer for them to pick up from there. Thank you for the lovely stay and wishing you much success in future.

Thinking of finding a quiet place to rest for two days after climbing Huangshan Mountain, I looked at the location and chose this B&B. I like the scenery of the hotel very much. It is located in the valley. The room has a large balcony and a view. Every day, I listen to the bamboo forest and the gurgling stream. It is really relaxing. The hotel's dried bamboo shoots noodles are delicious, and the fruits are also very sweet. My wife loves to eat that Babagan. Because the hotel is temporarily out of stock, the boss went home to find it and sent it over. The hot spring has a very good viewing angle. You can overlook the main peaks of Huangshan Mountain and watch the clouds roll and unfold. The Jiulong Waterfall Emerald Valley around the hotel is also a good place to go. The boss is very enthusiastic and arranges pick-up at any time, which makes travel much more convenient. The hotel housekeeper is also very good. You can ask for anything at any time. My wife is very satisfied with this accommodation arrangement. We are already thinking about the arrangement for the next visit. It is highly recommended.

The location is superb, offering incredibly easy access for ascending and descending the mountain. There are also plenty of dining options nearby, and surprisingly, I found the food prices comparable to, if not better than, those in Tangkou Town. Our room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped, truly meeting hotel standards. The window offered an interesting view of the path where tourists descend the mountain. A crucial tip: either arrive at the bus station by 6 AM or wait until after 10 AM. For those staying on the mountain, even heading up around noon is perfectly fine. We made the mistake of arriving at 7 AM and endured a two-hour queue – it was hot, crowded, and we were almost at our breaking point before even starting our ascent. Thankfully, the rest of the trip went smoothly, and we were rewarded with stunning sunset and sunrise views. That initial discomfort was absolutely worth it in the end. My strongest recommendation is to absolutely stay overnight on the mountain. This allows you to truly appreciate Huangshan before 9 AM and after 5 PM, when the large crowds of day-trippers have departed.

I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel! The staff and especially the hotel manager 蒋丹书 went above my expectations! A lot of unexpected stuff happened just before coming to Huangshan and Jiang DanShu was not only comprehensive but also very helpful. I also had to replan my trip in Huangshan and he patiently answered to all of my questions (and there were a lot) even though I arrived late at night. Finally, I was a solo traveller without a car but he helped me to arrange inexpensive lifts to go to the places I wanted to go to and I am so grateful for that. As for the hotel, it was perfect: great location, my room was cozy, comfortable and clean. It was high tech and I found funny to see what temperature I was taking my shower at. I felt as if I was at home with friends. The staff will help to plan the hike to Huangshan according to physical health, preferences, etc. I was also given free maps, a free walking stick, a free raincoat and free lifts to the bus stations. Breakfast is available if needed for a small fee.

Yunmushan Smart Designer Homestay is situated at the foot of Huangshan Mountain, just a few hundred meters from Huangshan Xiaoyao Stream. From here, it's only a 10-15 minute walk to the shuttle bus stop for Huangshan, which is incredibly convenient. While the room conditions aren't luxurious, they were perfectly adequate for our family trip. The front desk service was excellent; the staff enthusiastically shared useful information about visiting Huangshan. You'll find several restaurants within a 3-minute walk, making dining very convenient. The homestay also features some nice photo opportunities on its rooftop. We were lucky enough to witness stunning clouds in the evening and made great use of these spots for photos! If you're looking to explore Huangshan at a relaxed pace, we highly recommend staying here and heading out early in the morning.

This time at the Perhaps B&B in Tangkou, Huangshan, really gave me a wonderful experience beyond my expectations! As soon as I arrived at the B&B, I was attracted by its unique appearance and well-designed interior. The overall style is simple yet stylish, with careful attention to details and a full artistic atmosphere, and any shot can turn into a blockbuster. I have to give a big thumbs up to the owner of the B&B, she is so warm and hospitable! From front desk reception to helping with itinerary planning, she always had a smile on her face and was patient and meticulous. When I was undecided about the itinerary, she would give me professional and practical suggestions based on her own experience, and also kindly reminded me of the weather changes in the mountains and the items I needed to prepare. I also had delicious food under her recommendation😋
