We were not too sure what to expect from our first China trip so it was with much relief to receive such warm welcome and care when we reach our accomodation in Tunxi. Not only is our hotel a beautifully well-kept centuries-old heritage building, the service rendered by the staff was the highlight of our trip. They made special arrangements for us to have our breakfast (and it was a awesome breakfast too!) earlier as we were trying to reach Huangshan as early as possible. On our way back, we decided to stay one more night here as my friend was unwell. It felt like we were coming home, when we reached the hotel the second time. The staff even helped us to find a drugstore for us to buy some medicine to treat the stomach upset. My friend was really grateful for help rendered. It is only 600 meters away from Huangshan University. There are many restaurants, shops and foot baths nearby. It is only 500 meters away from Ju Lingshan Happy World. The hostel facilities are well equipped, reflecting the high degree of intelligence, clean, comfortable, convenient and quiet hostel experience. We had a great stay at the hotel. The hotel is easily reached by buses from high speed railway station and next to the famous TunXi Old Street area. The staff in the hotel, receptionists, kitchen staff, room cleaners, managers...all were super kind and helpful. The chef at the breakfast did the perfect runny eggs for my English husband. The front desk staff helped us with sightseeing options and suggestions. Our special thanks goes to 吴海燕, the manager in sales, who went extra mile in her helpfulness: booked the hotel on the peak of the yellow mountain for us, lend us her sim card to ensure our trip to the mountain was safe and without the risk of unable to call for help, because our mobile don't work in China, she also drawn a map and suggested best route and points of interest for the mountain climbing, which proved to be invaluable, we felt very lucky to have met her.
