"Highly, highly recommend! This is by far the best hotel I've ever stayed in, not just for its thoughtful service, but also for its proactive and highly professional, personalized approach. The hotel's location is exceptional, very close to Bright Summit and prime spots for sunrise and sunset viewing, and it's on the main route to other popular attractions. The hotel facilities are quite comprehensive, specifically catering to hikers. Plus, they offer free Hanfu (traditional Chinese clothing) for guests to wear for photos. They also provide complimentary down jackets for use in the guest rooms. The service, though, is what truly stands out—it's incredibly attentive! And all the services are proactively offered, anticipating guests' needs, which completely redefined my understanding of hotel room service. We were able to check in several hours early, saving us from lugging our luggage up the mountain. They also gave us very clear recommendations for our Huangshan itinerary! Seeing an extra child in our room, they proactively brought extra toiletries. They also reminded us multiple times about sunset times, etc. After we finished exploring for the day and returned to the hotel... that's when the real magic happened—this service truly exceeded my expectations. First, we were invited to watch a performance arranged by the hotel, then offered orange juice, followed by foot soak packets delivered to our room, and even a 20-minute free massage chair session. Isn't this exactly what we needed after a full day of strenuous hiking? A little while later, presumably after we finished our foot soaks, fresh fruit was delivered directly to our door! Did we think it was over? No, local specialty snacks were also brought to us! The next day, even after we had checked out and were about to leave, they offered milk tea and bottled water, all to keep us hydrated during our climb. This service is truly incredibly thoughtful. The key is that all of this was proactively offered by them. Before staying at this Baiyun Hotel, I honestly had no idea service could be this good! It's absolutely amazing! Huangshan is beautiful, and I'll definitely be back, and I'll be staying here again next time."

"Xihai Hotel truly exceeded my expectations! I'd always thought hotels on Huangshan were expensive with limited amenities, but I managed to snag a presale deal: one night on the mountain and one off for just over 800 yuan. So, my best friend and I decided to go see the sunrise. Xihai's location is excellent, right at the intersection of Danxia Peak, West Sea Grand Canyon, and Bright Summit, making it convenient to get anywhere. The hotel on the mountain provides complimentary down jackets and flashlights, which is a huge bonus for hiking and watching the sunrise – you can pack one less bulky item. On our first day, it was cloudy, and the hotel concierge said there was a 55% chance of seeing the sunset. We actually got lucky and witnessed a stunning sunset from Danxia Peak! The next day was perfectly clear, and in the morning, the hotel organized a sunrise viewing for guests. We saw the sunrise from Mushroom Pavilion – truly amazing luck! A special shout-out to the hotel's breakfast as well. To enjoy such a rich and delicious breakfast on the mountain is a rare treat."

"My husband stayed at Beihai Hotel 20 years ago, and it's certainly not what it used to be. For a hotel with these kinds of amenities at the top of the mountain, I'm extremely satisfied. We asked the butler for extra children's winter coats, and it's not too far to go to Baimashan Villa to watch the sunset. The buffet dinner was also very plentiful. We'll definitely choose to stay here again next time we come to Huangshan."

"This hotel is the 'golden spot' for watching sunrises, sunsets, and seas of clouds, making for an absolutely amazing experience! No need to rush in the dark pre-dawn; the hotel entrance opens directly onto an unobstructed viewing platform. You can wait for the morning sun to break through the mist in the mountain breeze, watch the evening glow paint the river red, and if you're lucky, even witness the surging sea of clouds – an unforgettable and majestic sight. At night, the sky is filled with countless stars, and the mountaintop under the starlit sky is exceptionally serene and incredibly therapeutic. The service was also beyond expectations and incredibly thoughtful! Upon check-in, the butler proactively informed us of sunrise and sunset times, hiking routes, and even thoughtfully prepared seasonal fruits and warm clothing. They thought of everything, right down to raincoats for a rainy day and hot water after a hike."

"The best hotel we stayed at in china. A small traditional bulding, two floors. With a modern bathroom, fully equiped. Beautiful designed with lovely spaces to sit around and enjoy the traditional designs and details. It's situated in the best location in the old town pedestrial street, very friendly abd a lovely fresh chinese breakfast."

"There aren't many five-star hotels in Huangshan city center, and I was torn between Crowne Plaza and Hyatt. Ultimately, I chose Crowne Plaza for its excellent location and better value for money. My decision proved to be correct. All the staff were incredibly enthusiastic and always willing to help. Although the room showed its age a bit, it was very well-maintained and clean. The breakfast was rich and varied; they even had mooncakes during my stay, along with some local specialties – a big thumbs up! 👍🏻 There's a bathtub and a swimming pool, and the pool was very clean. My daughter either swam or took a bath every day. A very thoughtful touch: the desk lamp even had a 'study mode' which was very bright. My child didn't have to strain her eyes doing homework under dim, yellowish light anymore! A big shout-out to the hotel for its thoughtfulness! 👍🏻"

"Room is cozy with everything you need. Better to stay overnight in mountain if affordable. Two days one night is a better itinerary for the tough walking trails. The room price is 3-4 times higher than the foot of the mountain. Good breakfast with reasonable spread of food. Near the sunrise spot. We started from Yungu cableway at 7am on day one, travel around the area and checked in the hotel. We woke up for the sunrise at 4:30 am. After breakfast and shower, we started our day two… quite tough for people not used to walk for a day ＞10 km with thousands of stairways…. 😅 we went down Yuping cableway around 4pm. We cover all the HungShan highlighted spots and very happy due to low peak travel season in China, less crowds. 😎"

"The front desk ladies were very helpful and friendly. Two thumbs up. The carpet in the hallways was a bit old and hard to keep it pristine under the hot and moist climate. But once you were in the room it was another story. Beds were nice and soft and clean and bathroom was clean and tidy. Breakfast was buffet style and good. The hotel is not too far from the Old Street area. However you still need to call Didi and it costs you little. The last point is the hotel price was very inexpensive. It gives you a very good value for your money. So if you are looking for a good hotel to sleep with budget in mind, this is the one. There are restaurants near the hotel. I will book this hotel again if I am in the area. Thank you to the front desk staffs."

"One of the best places we've ever stayed in, not only in China but anywhere. Beautiful surroundings in a park on a hill within Huangshan City, The interior design in the room and the shared spaces is amazing, it is cozy and tasteful with a lot of beautiful art. The overall atmosphere is great and relaxing. The breakfast is delicious and healthy, and the portions are big. The staff is incredibly helpful and nice, they helped us with the transfer from the train station and taking our luggage up the stairs, and with any questions about getting around the area. And to top everything off there are two very cute cats. As one other review said, the place is so good it was tempting to just stay there all the time, instead of going out."

"This hotel definitely has character, and it's all in the details. The facilities are on par with a 4-star hotel, including a pool and five hot spring baths. There's nothing quite like a hot spring soak after a hike – pure bliss! 👍👍 Many aspects of the hotel are also very thoughtful. The elevators have buttons for children/guests with special needs, and the shower rooms include a small stone slab for easier access. 👍👍 The rooms come equipped with a capsule coffee machine, kettle, air purifier, and a mini-fridge, plus a JBL smart alarm clock. The TV is a smart TV on a movable arm, and you can even watch movies for free – the ambiance is just perfect! 👍👍 The hotel's exterior is all white, giving it a super upscale feel. Many nooks and crannies inside also have more artistic flair than what you'd typically find in a 4-star hotel. Where else could you find such a hidden gem for under 500 [currency]? It's currently off-peak season, and they even upgraded my room for free – that's what I call great service! Z👍👍 I'll definitely be back if I get the chance."
