As soon as I got off the bus, a handsome guy came out of the door and enthusiastically helped me with my luggage. When I entered the room, a young girl was standing at the front desk and asked: Such a new decoration won’t contain formaldehyde, right? My heart skipped a beat. My girlfriend is allergic to formaldehyde and breaks out in rashes all over her body after the slightest contact with it. I'm even worse off. I cry and snot as soon as there's dust. At this time, I heard the handsome guy behind me say, don't worry, my sister has an allergic constitution. If she is here, she won't serve you at the front desk for even a minute. Check in with peace of mind, the room is clean and bright, and the supplies are very thoughtfully prepared. When I went downstairs, I saw the Husky in the store. It was super cute and docile. No matter how you pet it, it would just look at you slowly and innocently, without making any noise or barking. After returning from dinner, the boss and a few other guests and friends gathered around the fire playing the piano and singing, creating a great atmosphere. When we came back from shopping in the evening, we wanted to join them, but when we entered the door, they had already dispersed. The boss said that a dad was taking care of the children and had already rested, and we would continue after dinner tomorrow. Breakfast not only includes rice noodles made by the auntie, but also garlic baguettes baked by the beauty herself (it is said that she baked it for her brother, and we got to have it 😁) and coffee. There is also coconut water in the refrigerator that my girlfriend likes to drink. 100 meters to the right of the inn is the military compound, which gives you a full sense of security. 100 meters to the left is the ancient city pedestrian street, which has convenient transportation and is quiet in a bustling city. Overall I feel super lucky this time. The design and comfort of this three-star inn gave me a five-star feel. The owner and his sister are both from Beijing, very friendly and enthusiastic. None of the food and entertainment they introduced to me were disappointing. The tie-dye provided in the room is very fun and a very good experience YYDS I have to manually add a like 👍, my girlfriend said she will come here again next time! Highly recommended to everyone!

Our stay was absolutely fantastic! The front desk team provided incredibly warm and thoughtful service, making us feel like family. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. We also received complimentary fruit upon arrival, a sweet treat at night, and a farewell gift when we left. The sea view room offered breathtaking views, with Erhai Lake right outside our window. The room itself was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with smart features. The hotel's location is super convenient, right on the ecological corridor, perfect for snapping beautiful photos. It's also very quiet at night, making it an excellent choice for relaxing and unwinding on the west side of Dali. I've already secretly recommended it to my friends, and I'll definitely choose Tingyun again next time I'm here. It truly deserves a five-star recommendation!

The ingredients were fresh, and dining with a view of Erhai Lake was a truly healing and leisurely experience. The room's cleanliness was impeccable; the entire space was spotless and odor-free. The bedding was soft, and the bathroom was dry and clean. Housekeeping did a thorough daily tidy-up, paying attention to every detail. The butler service was attentive and efficient, coordinating our itinerary in advance and responding promptly to requests, quickly resolving any needs. They even provided sweet soup and fresh fruit in the evening, adding a heartwarming touch. With its prime Erhai Lake view, it's perfect for both leisurely vacations and short-term stays. A highly recommended choice when visiting Dali.

This B&B really nailed the details! They offer authentic local rice noodles for breakfast, and you can enjoy a leisurely afternoon tea. Before bed, they even bring you a glass of milk with a sleep-inducing aroma, ensuring a super peaceful night's sleep. The place is incredibly photogenic, with tons of spots for great pictures – the lobby, the terrace, by the windows, you name it! The housekeepers are warm and attentive, even helping us with our luggage up and down the stairs. Plus, there are plenty of restaurants nearby, making it very convenient for getting around and dining out!

Choosing this guesthouse was absolutely the right decision! The location is incredibly convenient, right near the South Gate of the ancient city. It's just a few minutes' walk to get inside for sightseeing and dining, and taxis can drop you off directly at the entrance – making getting around super easy. The guesthouse offers a peaceful retreat amidst the hustle and bustle; the environment is quiet and comfortable, making for a very relaxing stay. The room itself is very spacious, with a large area and a cozy layout. It was spotlessly clean, with no strange odors throughout. The bedding was wonderfully soft, and the bathroom was designed with a wet/dry separation – all the details were perfectly thought out. The owner was incredibly warm and attentive, truly heartwarming. The soundproofing in the room was excellent too, ensuring a very peaceful night's sleep and great rest. The experience was absolutely top-notch! It offers fantastic value for money, and I genuinely recommend it for anyone visiting Dali Ancient City. I'll definitely stay here again next time!

My stay was exceptionally good. The place is very clean and elegant, and both the garden and the rooms are beautiful. The owner is incredibly warm and attentive, answering all my travel guide questions perfectly. The service was comprehensive! The environment is stunning, and my stay felt very cozy. There are also many coffee shops nearby to check out, and taking a stroll in the ancient city right outside is lovely. The owner generously shared her delicious food with guests. Her breakfast is fantastic, especially the rice noodles which are absolutely incredible, and the coffee is super good too! When I was there, guests came from all over, and everyone was so friendly. I even made new friends, new international friends! I plan to stay here every time I visit Dali!

Nestled in Shuanglang Ancient Town beside Erhai Lake, this beautiful hotel's location was a pleasant surprise. Situated on Yuji Island, you can enjoy the shimmering waters of Erhai Lake from a lounge chair on the terrace – a tranquil oasis right at your doorstep. The owner was incredibly welcoming and hospitable, and the hotel is filled with thoughtfully designed gardens and charming details, including a rooftop terrace perfect for photos! Beautiful scenery, the vibrant colors of Yunnan! Thank you to the butler for the attentive service! This is my first review on Ctrip, and I genuinely think this hotel is excellent! While my experience exploring Dali Ancient City was rather lukewarm, this hotel left a lasting impression.

Free parking outside the ancient city, the little brother will pick you up at the intersection. It's in the inner part near the sea. You can take pictures on the rooftop, which is good for physical strength. There is also breakfast in the morning, which is made by their local aunt, and it's super delicious rice noodles. Unlimited refills. It's also very convenient to go out in the town. When you walk out, you will see Yang Liping's Sun Palace, and on the other side is Nanzhao Fengqing Island.

The environment is elegant and comfortable, the service attitude is very satisfactory, it is clean and tidy, and it is only 5 minutes away from Erhai Lake. I highly recommend everyone to come and stay here. It left a deep impression on us.

We rented the Garden Deluxe Room, with a mountain view. We find the description and pictures were accurately advertised, and the service was impeccable. We were very pleased with our rental, as it was private, clean and orderly. The hotel is conveniently located within the Dali Ancient Town, close to Biai Road and Renmin Road intersection (see picture of map). The morning and night views from the terrace were stunning. The Dali Ancient Town is as lively as you would imagine, with tons of food and shopping options. Our experience in Dali was awesome, with it's majestic mountains, beautiful lake, vibrant towns and peaceful villages. However, the best part of this stay was our interactions with the hotel owners, who are a lovely couple. They are good people - very kind, helpful and approachable. Although we had to use an English to Mandarin translation app for most of our conversations, they were patient and made recommendations that we really enjoyed. They helped us book a tour of Erhai Lake and we had a wonderful time sightseeing with the bus tour company (highly recommended if you don't know where to start exploring). We also took their scooter bike to explore the Three Pagodas on our own and drove around the lake afterwards. Please consider renting their scooter bike, as it was super fun and the price is very affordable. As language is a barrier for us, they not only helped us book our ride to Lijiang, but they also gave us a hotel recommendation, which their son runs. To us, they are very trustworthy, so we're sure we will have another pleasant stay in Lijiang. After all, it's not how clean the hotel is, or how beautiful the surroundings are, it's the people we meet along the way that makes it a wonderul trip experience. If there is another hotel rating for overall hotel experience, it would be a 10/5 for us. The owners definitely made our short stay very comfortable and our adventures amazing - thank you so much! We would definitely come back to this hotel if we are in this area again!
