Canberra Hotels with Wifi

"I came here for a career fair, and needed somewhere cheap to stay overnight so I can my bus back to Sydney the next day. I found Little Drifter the perfect location for my stay, and the price is right. Upon check-in I was given a URL to a webpage where I can remotely open the room I was assigned. not super ideal since if my phone died, I can't access my room. Nevertheless, I paid $8 for a rental towel and got to room where I had the whole room to myself. I initially thought that I had roommates because the other beds were still messy as the cleaners didn't clean them up, but my bed was cleaned. The washrooms were clean, but I had a problem with the hot water from the shower where it would periodically run out and blast cold water on me, then it would slowly get hot again. This happened to me for my whole stay which was quite annoying since I had to constantly adjust the water temp and move myself away from the freezing water. Otherwise, I had a fantastic stay and would happily stay here again upon my next visit."

"While the facilities aren't brand new, they are very well-maintained, making for a comfortable stay overall. I was particularly pleased with how spotless the room was and how fresh and clean the bedding felt. The service was warm and attentive, and the front desk was very responsive. The location is convenient, with plenty of dining and shopping options nearby. If some of the older equipment were updated, the experience would be even more perfect. All in all, it offers great value for money, and I'd definitely consider staying here again."

"With only a 10 minute uber to the city and amazing airport access this hotel easily finds a place on my will stay again. Although for breakfast believe there could've been more of a wider selection of food. The 24 hour self serve is amazing for anyone needing that support outside of business hours."

"It is close to the shops but there was a problem with the parking spot in the hotel. You pay for parking fee of $21 a night but the parking location is on the other side of the building so if you caught the wrong lift this will take you to the middle of the streets and you need to walk around to get to the entrance of Adina. This is very inconvenient and there was not many signs telling you about this or even when you book. The room is decent size with microwave and some cutlery which comes handy however there was only 1 cup to be used in the room which was strange. There was some toiletries available upon request from the hotel. I think for what we paid for we could find a better hotel than this in Canberra. We don’t recommend this hotel."

"This hotel used to be a dormitory for Australian National University, so the upside is it's cheap. The downsides are small rooms without private bathrooms, though each room does have its own sink. There's no air conditioning, only a fan, but they do have heating in winter. Also, the soundproofing is pretty bad. After booking, they kept sending frequent emails and texts for online check-in, which honestly wasn't necessary at all. Check-in was super quick in person, and they didn't even ask for a bank card or deposit. However, the online check-in requires you to enter bank card information. To avoid phishing risks, I generally don't input my card details on untrustworthy websites, but if you don't complete the online process, they'll keep sending you messages, which is quite annoying. Also, the front desk has short operating hours, closing at 7:30 PM on weekdays and apparently at 3 PM on weekends. I arrived a bit late, and the door was locked, so I had to call the front desk to open it. Then, in the middle of the night, their system sent out messages about online check-out. I thought returning the key was all there was to it? More messages, this system is truly irritating. The fact is, the front desk isn't even open before 7 or 8 AM, so you just drop your key card in a box for check-out – it's that simple. However, I think it's quite good for a temporary stay of a few nights, but I only recommend it if you're okay with not having a private bathroom. If you need a room with a bathroom, the value for money isn't as good as other hotels. As for location, it's pretty much in the city center, about a 10-minute walk to the main downtown area, and there's a light rail station right downstairs. So, overall, I'd still give it a good review. On a side note, the front desk staff was quite friendly when I was there, even though it took a little while for them to come and open the door after I called (mainly because I really didn't expect the front desk to close at 7:30 PM)."

"Recently stayed at Hyatt Hotel Canberra and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The hotel strikes a great balance between old-world charm and modern comfort, with the heritage architecture giving the property a unique character that you simply do not get with many newer hotels. The rooms were spacious, clean and well maintained, and the overall atmosphere throughout the hotel felt calm, professional and relaxing. Staff were welcoming, attentive and genuinely helpful from check-in through to departure, which made the stay seamless. The location is also excellent, particularly for anyone travelling for business, government-related work or simply wanting easy access to Canberra’s key attractions and parliamentary precinct. A standout was the buffet breakfast, which offered a strong variety and quality selection. Overall, a very comfortable and enjoyable stay and I would happily return when next visiting Canberra."

"Canberra is a beautiful city with virtually brand new streets and buildings. The bus station from Sydney to Canberra is right next to the Novotel, and it's just a few hundred meters walk to the Crowne Plaza. The hotel facilities are good, with a pool and gym. The room size is smaller than in China but larger than in Japan. The casino is right next to the hotel. I want to specifically talk about the service. When I arrived, they initially gave me a connecting room. Later, they switched me to a twin room. It made me feel like the front desk staff was a tour guide handling a** (rubbish/bad) tour group."

"For what we paid for a night it was worth it. Reception was friendly upon arrival There was no problem at all checking in It was short and quick at reception and key was handed to us. For short stay I will recommend this Ibis Budget at Canberra. Cheers"
