You won't have to endure the 40-minute one-way shuttle ride back and forth. The hotel is only a 12-minute drive from the shuttle bus terminal and is right at the entrance of Station 3. You don't need to walk an extra step. You can even wait for the shuttle while taking photos on a swing chair in the lobby or the small courtyard, as you can see the snow-capped mountains from anywhere in the hotel (see photo 1, taken this morning). 2. **Amenities**: They provide a Dyson hairdryer, 'Black Sister' toothpaste, a large jar of freshly cut kumquat and lemon fruit tea, and four separate fruit platters. Each room comes with a small wooden table, a vintage tea set, and two packets of tea. There's also a private balcony where you can step out. You can brew tea and take your wooden tray tea set out to take pictures. 3. **Oxygen Supply**: Oxygen is supplied 24 hours a day, unlike many hotels that only offer it from 7 PM to 7 AM. It's a diffused oxygen supply with 24% oxygen concentration. Hotels in Litang typically only reach 21%. If you have an oxygen bag, you can even refill it in your room as the interface is compatible. 4. **Service**: Around 8 PM, I felt cold and asked the front desk to check if the air conditioning was working correctly. Without a word, the front desk brought up a massive heater that could reach a maximum temperature of 35 degrees Celsius. You'll sleep soundly and won't get cold, and it's completely silent. 5. **Luggage Service**: If you're staying at the hotel with luggage and find it inconvenient to carry to the attractions the next day, you can store it at the front desk. You also won't have to worry about wasting time and queuing for another shuttle to pick up your luggage at the station on your return journey. A front desk staff member will wait for you at the station with your luggage after your return bus departs. You don't even need to get off; they'll load your luggage directly onto the shuttle bus. Nice! 6. **Convenience Store**: If you're short on food, there's a small supermarket about 50 meters from the hotel. A bowl of braised beef noodles costs only 7 yuan – grab it! This is inside a scenic area; at the visitor center, it would start at 20 yuan.

Songji Mountain Hotel in Daocheng Yading: Five-Star Review! ✨ I feel incredibly lucky to have visited Daocheng Yading this time! Not only did I stay at an incredibly satisfying hotel, but I also experienced a spring snow shower on the evening of April 15th! Choosing the Songji Mountain Hotel, which just opened in 2025, was absolutely the right decision. It definitely deserves a full five-star rating! 🏔️ Snowfall at dusk, a fairytale snowscape unfolds when I open the window in the morning. When I arrived in Yading on the afternoon of the 15th, the sky was clear, and I was quite tired from the journey. Unexpectedly, fine snowflakes began to drift down at dusk, growing denser and denser. By the time I returned to the hotel that evening, the courtyard was covered with a thin layer of snow. The next morning, I opened my eyes and pulled back the curtains, and was left speechless by the beauty! The spruces, wooden fences, and ******* stone walls in the courtyard were all blanketed in thick white snow. Fluffy snow sat on the branches, even the small trees by the roadside were plump with snow, and the distant mountains were a vast expanse of white. It was truly a real-life ice and snow wonderland, where every casual photo looked like a wallpaper-worthy scene. This spring snow experience was truly rare and unforgettable! 🔥 Underfloor heating + oxygen supply: Double benefits, keeping me warm even in snowy weather. The high-altitude snow can be incredibly cold, but the Songji Mountain Hotel's full-house underfloor heating and diffused oxygen supply were an absolute necessity! Outside, it was freezing, but inside the room, it was wonderfully warm. I could walk barefoot on the floor without feeling cold at all, completely avoiding the damp chill of the plateau. I had a slight case of altitude sickness when I first arrived in Yading, compounded by travel fatigue. I slept with the oxygen supply on all night, and woke up feeling refreshed, with my headache completely gone. My energy for hiking the next day was fully restored. The bedding was also incredibly soft and skin-friendly, providing a fantastic night's sleep. All the fatigue from the journey was smoothed away. 💖 Heartfelt service, as caring as family. The hotel owners and staff were exceptionally warm and welcoming. On the snowy day, they specifically reminded us to be careful of slippery roads and thoughtfully prepared hot ginger tea for us, which was both warming and comforting. From contacting us in advance to confirm our itinerary, to helping us with our luggage upon arrival, and then advising us on hiking precautions in Yading and recommending local delicacies, the entire process was attentive and thorough, with absolutely no sense of distance. After a tiring day of exploring, I could relax by the fire in the common area, sip tea, and admire the snowy scenery outside the window. It felt as comfortable as being at a friend's house. 📍 Excellent location, super convenient for getting around. The hotel is situated in the core area of Yading Village, very close to the scenic area's station. It's just a few minutes' walk away, saving a lot of energy as I didn't have to rush to catch a car early in the morning. Surrounding it is an authentic ******* village, making it incredibly convenient to enjoy the snow at dusk and the mountain views in the morning, without needing to specifically look for photo spots. This trip to Yading, the Songji Mountain Hotel was definitely the most pleasant surprise! With its breathtaking snowy scenery, impressive facilities, and incredibly warm service, anyone planning a trip to Yading should definitely choose this place without hesitation! I've already recommended it to friends who are going, and I'll definitely stay at Songji Mountain Hotel again next time I visit Yading~

Best stay in Western Sichuan, located within the daocheng yading park (second stop, 2 mins walk from the bus stop). Very clean comfortable rooms with extremely hot showers, amenities included. Excellent view (highly recommend getting the snow mountain view room). Staff and owners are really kind and helpful. They’ll explain which routes to go if you are hiking up. They do provide electric blankets, didn’t use the electric heater but it is available for colder months. They have their own restaurant which is very convenient and food was delicious! Simple Chinese breakfast included would have liked to have been able to take some food away to eat along the way as wanted to start the hike earlier could consider asking the staff is this would be possible. Do keep in mind the shuttle bus going up to the scenic site can be quite full so do plan ahead. Would definitely stay here again if I ever come back.

The hotel was really great. There’s an elevator, so no need to worry about carrying luggage up the stairs. We arrived at ฺBus Stop 2 and the hotel staff came out to help us with our bags — plus we were warmly greeted by an adorable dog! We chose a triple room, and the space was comfortable and sufficient for everyone. Our room faced the front with a beautiful mountain view. The beds also had electric mattress warmers, which made our sleep very cozy. Breakfast was good, and the stir-fried vegetables were delicious. They also provide hiking poles that guests can borrow.

The first thing I remember was the in-house restaurant. For someone who doesn't really into too spicy, oily or salty foods, the restaurant's dinner was just nice for my stomach. I had 2 good dinners inside the hotel. Secondly, the location is very strategic, where it just right beside station 3 inside Yading Village. I'm glad to stay here as a solo traveller, as I can just hop on any of the bus into the national park, at any time, which take less than 15min to arrive, compare an hour If coming from the town. Anyhow, there are 2 areas of improvement for the entire stay. Upon check in, there was no explanation at all on how to use the Humidifier, floor heater as well as built in oxygen. To be honest, all these are something new to me, even though it looked simple to just on the button. But I'm not sure if it's considered working. Throughout the 2nights stayed, I don't think the floor heater was working, as I don't feel anything. Same goes to the water heater, it's doesn't work in my first night, I had to shower in cold. I did brought all the concern to the owner, but unfortunately, he doesn't seems to concern. In my opinion, he is not really a friendly type. But he still answers all my questions. For someone who doesn't really need any personal touch, this place still a nice place to stay.

The location of the HomeStay is excellent. It is located at the end of the street of a quieter corner away from the busy street. Just a short walk you will have access to many eateries and shops. The interior decoration is uniquely furnished with ******* style design transporting us into a real local ******* family home without the need to be physically in Tibet. The Owner of the HomeStay is very friendly and helpful. He introduced us to ******* culture and explained the significance of Animals painting on the wall and how it translates into daily life. Animals consisted of Elephant, Monkey, Rabbit and Bird. He also made us their fragrance 酥油茶 suyou cha which is good to counter Altitude sickness 高反。 Cat is also a sacred animal in ******* culture. The price of the HomeStay is very reasonable with the excellent location and service. It has free laundry service, however you need to hang them dry in an outdoor clothes line. It will dry quickly as the weather is very dry/sunny. I would highly recommend this HomeStay to everyone who likes to go to Daocheng Yading. Lastly, I would like to thank the Owner and his Sister for making our stay an enjoyable one. Best wishes to Owner and his Sister with excellent business ahead.

Right in the center of Xiangelila town, 2min walk from supermarkets restaurants and even a Dicos! It's right on the road that will take you straight to the main entrance to Yading Scenic Area (about 6km, taxi 40RMB or 10RMB per person if carpooling). During check-in the nice ******* lady at reception upgraded my room at no extra cost. Place is clean above usual Chinese standards. If you want a heater is 5RMB per night, but the electric blanket was sufficient. Water is warm, but not scalding (personally I only take showers at +45 degrees, but it was enough to wash my face without discomfort). I was very happy with my stay so next morning I booked another night, rather than staying in Yading town. When I returned very late at night, and owing to my pickiness when it comes to food, the lady at the desk made me quick and delicious fried rice and wouldn't accept my money no matter how many times I offered. I would have stayed another night if I didn't have to leave next morning. Thanks for everything, I'll be back one day!

Personally, I think the CP value is very high 😬, you can see the beautiful scenery, and the bed is super comfortable. As long as you don’t care about bathing, you will really feel grateful to live here 😬. At night, because there is not much light pollution, you can see the Big Dipper from the window of the room. The next day, there are buses distributed at 7:30 in the scenic area, so you can go early to buy battery tickets. If you have no weight problem, you can also buy horse racing tickets, which is very convenient. Climbing to Five Color Lake may have exceeded the physical limit. My husband developed hyperresponsiveness and checked out one day early. The boss may have thought that we were not satisfied with the accommodation, so he quickly came to the room to see us. He learned that it was because we were feeling uncomfortable, and he enthusiastically helped us. We contacted the passenger bus down the mountain and helped us carry our luggage. If we have another chance to go there next time, we will still choose this hotel. A little further down the road from this hotel is a store. If you need hiking poles, you can buy them here, as well as gloves and snacks. Overall, it's a good experience.

I recently stayed at this hotel while traveling alone, and I highly recommend it to all fellow travelers. The location is fantastic, with easy access to Yading National Park, making it the ideal base for exploring. The pricing is reasonable, and the hospitality of the host was outstanding. She went above and beyond to assist me with everything I needed. I plan to return here on my next visit, and I'll definitely recommend it to my friends as well.

It was a great place for a Westerner to stay. The staff were very helpful. The location was great and there were plenty of food and drink options.Very close by
