The room itself is lovely, clean, and tidy, and you can sit inside and enjoy the view of the small bridges and flowing water outside. The staff are also incredibly friendly and energetic. "I stayed one night in Jinan to rest and chose the Lvfaguhe InterContinental Hotel. Overall, I'd rate it 7-8 out of 10. The location is its biggest highlight, being right in the heart of Jinan's downtown commercial area, next to Guihe Shopping Mall. You can walk to attractions like Baotu Spring, Quancheng Square, and Kuanhouli, making it super convenient for shopping and sightseeing. I specifically chose this hotel for its prime location.
The hotel's facade and lobby are grand and impressive, with a high ceiling design that gives it a luxurious, high-end feel. My first impression was definitely upscale and sophisticated. However, the room's hardware is a noticeable drawback. The hotel has been open for quite a while, and the room facilities are generally dated. You can see clear signs of wear and tear on the furniture, bathroom fixtures, and appliances. The decor style is a bit old-fashioned, lacking the refined touch of newer hotels, and the maintenance of details could be improved.
What most affected my experience this stay was the communication regarding services, with multiple basic oversights. I booked two rooms, but upon check-in, I was only given four key cards for a single room. After going upstairs and realizing I couldn't access the second room, I had to go back to the front desk to get new ones, which was a time-consuming hassle. Additionally, the booking included the hotel's standard spring water bottles, but neither room had them. When I went to the front desk to ask for them, there was a lot of back-and-forth and blame-shifting, requiring repeated communication for a minor issue, which lowered both the efficiency of my check-in and my overall impression. The bedding was comfortable, and the basic living functions were fine. It's a good choice for travelers who prioritize a city-center location and mainly focus on sightseeing."

"If Tagore had come here back then, the Shanxi Hotel probably wouldn't have stood a chance. The biggest highlight of my trip to Jinan wasn't Daming Lake or Baotu Spring, but this hotel. It was a completely unexpected and fantastic stay. The service was top-notch, and the elegant Chinese decor was perfect for a solo traveler looking to relax and recharge. The hotel restaurant's food was delicious, and when they weren't too busy, I could even have it delivered to my room, then order a pot of wine and enjoy the serene atmosphere alone. However, some rooms don't have great natural light. The room I initially checked into wasn't very comfortable in terms of layout and lighting, but after I mentioned it to the front desk, they quickly moved me to a satisfactory room. Overall, the stay was excellent. I've saved this place, and if I ever come to Jinan again, I'll definitely be back here."

"Due to a change in plans, I found myself back in Jinan, and my first thought was to stay at your hotel again. It's incredibly convenient being so close to the airport, and the shuttle service makes travel stress-free 🚕 (a special shout-out to the shuttle drivers, who are always super friendly and give helpful reminders to guests). The breakfast is incredibly generous for a hotel in this price range ☕️👍. When I returned this time, the check-in was handled by the 'Front Desk Manager 💓,' who provided excellent service. "Just drove back to Beijing and I'm determined to write a genuine, unsolicited review.🌹 We checked in on May 3rd and checked out on May 4th. We booked a one-bedroom suite with executive lounge access. Since I'm an IHG member, the hotel kindly upgraded us to a larger room, which made our stay even more comfortable, as we were two adults with two children. We checked in at 3 PM and headed straight to the Executive Lounge for afternoon tea. I must praise the Executive Lounge here – it was very professional, attentive, and high-quality. They offered two sweet treats, one savory item, plus cookies, nuts, coffee, and soft drinks. It was excellent! The selection might have been small, but everything was delicious. Afterwards, we went for a swim. The pool temperature felt even warmer than advertised, which was a pleasant surprise. The evening happy hour was also good; while there weren't many dishes, it was enough to fill us up 😄. What really touched me was when my child got sick and threw up on the bedsheets after drinking milk late at night. I called guest services to change the sheets, and the staff member was incredibly proactive in asking if my child was feeling unwell. That level of concern was truly moving. The mattress was very comfortable, and I slept wonderfully. Breakfast the next morning was also abundant and delicious 👏. This hotel was the most comfortable and best one we stayed at during this trip to Jinan. Its refinement and quality shine through in the details. Clean, tidy, thoughtful, and professional – it's the first hotel that I've felt was actually better than what the photos and videos show 😊. This dedication to hospitality is truly impressive, and this is the longest review I've written in my 20 years with Trip.com. I hope the hotel continues to uphold its quality and gets even better. ❤️"

"This was my first time booking this hotel, and my overall experience was great. The environment was clean and bright, and the luxury suite was well-designed, spacious, and quiet. It even came with a bathtub. The room was quite large. Lorna, the guest relations manager, was incredibly warm and polite. She called me in advance to confirm my arrival and added me on WeChat. She arranged the room exactly as I requested, and knowing I'm sensitive to smells, she thoughtfully placed an air purifier in the room. Her efficiency was impressive, and it was very convenient to contact her with any questions – truly considerate service. I also tried the executive lounge for afternoon tea; the setting was perfect for photos, the food selection was rich, and the attention to detail was excellent. The facilities were comprehensive, modern, well-maintained, and operated smoothly. Overall, I'm very satisfied; it was a truly comfortable experience."

It's in a great location, not far from Baotu Spring, Black Tiger Spring, and Daming Lake—all within walking distance for a leisurely stroll. The surrounding Baihuazhou historical district is also lovely for a walk, especially when lit up at night. The hotel breakfast is plentiful; I particularly enjoyed the warm Jinan Chatang, where you can add various dried fruits yourself. Upon checking out, they even gave us delicate pastries, telling us we could eat them on our journey, which was incredibly thoughtful. I've already recommended it to friends who are planning to visit.

GGuest UserThis guesthouse came highly recommended, and I can see why! I initially expected a run-of-the-mill B&B, but I was absolutely blown away the moment I walked in. The lobby and courtyard feature a charming new Chinese style, complete with bluestone rockeries and the soothing sound of flowing springs. Its central location is fantastic; despite being right next to the bustling Furong Street and Qushui Pavilion, it boasts an incredibly quiet courtyard – truly an oasis of calm in the city. We stayed in a room with a private courtyard, and as soon as we entered, my child made a beeline for the swing chair and had a blast. The room itself was incredibly well-equipped: a comfortable king-sized bed, a large bathtub that my child loved splashing around in, and a shower with great water pressure. Everything was spotlessly clean, which was reassuring when traveling with a child. The staff at Courtyard No. 8 were exceptionally warm, attentive, and always ready to help, assisting us with our luggage and guiding us through the check-in process. We took so many beautiful photos in the courtyard during our stay. Absolutely fantastic!

I loved the hotel's 'cheese-like' design; it reminded me of a dormitory I lived in during university – which was also a former hotel converted into student housing, and coincidentally, also located next to a university. This hotel is right by a university too. Overall, everything met my expectations, highly recommend. Picture 3 shows a comparison of the view from my 'cheese-wedge' room at that old dorm – my university was in the Northeast, so many memories flooding back! 😆

It was my first time in China and I immediately ended up in such a fantastic hostel. The staff were friendly and welcoming. They were always on hand to help. They even invited me to have dinner with them.
They organise regular social events to bring the guests together.
The hostel is very good and they’re always trying to improve the living conditions.
There’s a huge common room with a cinema, a bar, a large work table, sofas and even a selection of different costumes.
The view of the park from the 19th floor is a real treat.

Hygiene: The room is spacious, clean and tidy, and you can see that it is cleaned frequently.
I soaked in the bathtub after a tiring day, which was very comfortable 😌, and I felt that every pore was taken care of.
Service: I checked in at almost 11 o'clock in the evening. The waiter was very friendly and not impatient at all.
When I entered the room, I saw the prepared snacks. People who like to eat midnight snacks said it was very heartwarming 🥰
Facilities: The do not disturb function in the room is really great. I can sleep until the sun rises the next day. It's really great.
Once the curtains are drawn, no one loves them. The airtightness is great.
When I left, the souvenirs I was given included masks. Tears welled up in my eyes🥹. I didn't expect there would be so many catkins in Jinan when I came here, so I didn't prepare them. I didn't expect the hotel to be so considerate and prepare them. When I arrived near Baotu Spring, there were as many catkins as the wind. Thanks to the hotel for providing them😷🥳
I will come to this hotel again next time I come to Jinan. The bed is very comfortable and everything is great. I don't want to leave😋

GGuest UserThis hotel is located in Jinan Gaoxin Wanda Plaza. You enter through Y1 gate and take the hotel's dedicated elevators (4 or 5) to the 19th-floor reception for check-in. The hotel is directly across from Shandong Energy Group, making it one of the closest hotels to it. The three reception staff were warm, generous, and provided excellent service. The room was clean and hygienic, and being on a high floor, it was very quiet at night. Breakfast, also on the 19th floor, was very rich and plentiful.
