"The hotel's location is superb, right inside Daming Lake, and they even deliver takeout to your room. The room itself is lovely, clean, and tidy, and you can sit inside and enjoy the view of the small bridges and flowing water outside. The staff are also incredibly friendly and energetic. Breakfast is a buffet with fruit, salad, and a wide variety of dishes. This will definitely be my top choice for hotels when I visit Jinan again!"

"Choosing the Guihe InterContinental is always a safe bet; my overall experience was absolutely perfect. The hotel is located in the heart of Quancheng (Spring City), with direct access to Guihe Shopping Mall downstairs. It's just a ten-minute walk to Baotu Spring and Quancheng Square, making it incredibly convenient for shopping, dining, and getting around. The seventh-floor lobby boasts a panoramic glass dome that feels spacious and grand, with lush greenery and water features that echo the charm of Spring City. Upon entering, staff members were there to greet me warmly. The guest room was spacious and tidy, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering expansive views. The mattress was soft and supportive for my back, and the soundproofing was excellent. The separate wet and dry areas in the bathroom were clean and refreshing. They even thoughtfully provided containers for collecting spring water – every detail showed great care. The breakfast selection was extensive, and the pool and gym facilities were comprehensive. The staff were consistently enthusiastic and polite throughout my stay. Check-in was efficient and quick, and the quality control manager, Connie, was warm and attentive. Luggage pick-up and delivery were prompt. Whether for a business trip or a family vacation, this is undoubtedly the top choice for accommodation in Jinan. I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit."

"If Tagore had come here back then, the Shanxi Hotel probably wouldn't have stood a chance. The biggest highlight of my trip to Jinan wasn't Daming Lake or Baotu Spring, but this hotel. It was a completely unexpected and fantastic stay. The service was top-notch, and the elegant Chinese decor was perfect for a solo traveler looking to relax and recharge. The hotel restaurant's food was delicious, and when they weren't too busy, I could even have it delivered to my room, then order a pot of wine and enjoy the serene atmosphere alone. However, some rooms don't have great natural light. The room I initially checked into wasn't very comfortable in terms of layout and lighting, but after I mentioned it to the front desk, they quickly moved me to a satisfactory room. Overall, the stay was excellent. I've saved this place, and if I ever come to Jinan again, I'll definitely be back here."

"Due to a change in plans, I found myself back in Jinan, and my first thought was to stay at your hotel again. It's incredibly convenient being so close to the airport, and the shuttle service makes travel stress-free 🚕 (a special shout-out to the shuttle drivers, who are always super friendly and give helpful reminders to guests). The breakfast is incredibly generous for a hotel in this price range ☕️👍. When I returned this time, the check-in was handled by the 'Front Desk Manager 💓,' who provided excellent service. The room facilities are clean and tidy, the bedding is comfortable, and all the complimentary welcome fruits were delicious, showing the hotel's thoughtful service. I didn't get a chance to use the gym or indoor pool due to time constraints, but I imagine they would be excellent too. I especially recommend staying here if you're doing business at Xiangheng Square; the two buildings are connected, so you can go back and forth without stepping outside, which is super convenient. It's also within walking distance of key attractions like Baotu Spring, Black Tiger Spring, Daming Lake, and Wulongtan, and it's easy to get to Kuanhouli and Furong Street for food and shopping. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time I visit Jinan."

"Just drove back to Beijing and I'm determined to write a genuine, unsolicited review.🌹 We checked in on May 3rd and checked out on May 4th. We booked a one-bedroom suite with executive lounge access. Since I'm an IHG member, the hotel kindly upgraded us to a larger room, which made our stay even more comfortable, as we were two adults with two children. We checked in at 3 PM and headed straight to the Executive Lounge for afternoon tea. I must praise the Executive Lounge here – it was very professional, attentive, and high-quality. They offered two sweet treats, one savory item, plus cookies, nuts, coffee, and soft drinks. It was excellent! The selection might have been small, but everything was delicious. Afterwards, we went for a swim. The pool temperature felt even warmer than advertised, which was a pleasant surprise. The evening happy hour was also good; while there weren't many dishes, it was enough to fill us up 😄. What really touched me was when my child got sick and threw up on the bedsheets after drinking milk late at night. I called guest services to change the sheets, and the staff member was incredibly proactive in asking if my child was feeling unwell. That level of concern was truly moving. The mattress was very comfortable, and I slept wonderfully. Breakfast the next morning was also abundant and delicious 👏. This hotel was the most comfortable and best one we stayed at during this trip to Jinan. Its refinement and quality shine through in the details. Clean, tidy, thoughtful, and professional – it's the first hotel that I've felt was actually better than what the photos and videos show 😊. This dedication to hospitality is truly impressive, and this is the longest review I've written in my 20 years with Trip.com. I hope the hotel continues to uphold its quality and gets even better. ❤️"

"This was my first time booking this hotel, and my overall experience was great. The environment was clean and bright, and the luxury suite was well-designed, spacious, and quiet. It even came with a bathtub. The room was quite large. Lorna, the guest relations manager, was incredibly warm and polite. She called me in advance to confirm my arrival and added me on WeChat. She arranged the room exactly as I requested, and knowing I'm sensitive to smells, she thoughtfully placed an air purifier in the room. Her efficiency was impressive, and it was very convenient to contact her with any questions – truly considerate service. I also tried the executive lounge for afternoon tea; the setting was perfect for photos, the food selection was rich, and the attention to detail was excellent. The facilities were comprehensive, modern, well-maintained, and operated smoothly. Overall, I'm very satisfied; it was a truly comfortable experience."

Before check-in, I received a warm welcome call asking about my arrival time and room preferences. They were very accommodating with my requests for a high floor and a quiet, non-smoking room. Jinan in early autumn is beautiful, and this hotel truly enhances the experience. It's in a great location, not far from Baotu Spring, Black Tiger Spring, and Daming Lake—all within walking distance for a leisurely stroll. The surrounding Baihuazhou historical district is also lovely for a walk, especially when lit up at night. The hotel breakfast is plentiful; I particularly enjoyed the warm Jinan Chatang, where you can add various dried fruits yourself. Upon checking out, they even gave us delicate pastries, telling us we could eat them on our journey, which was incredibly thoughtful. I've already recommended it to friends who are planning to visit.

This guesthouse came highly recommended, and I can see why! I initially expected a run-of-the-mill B&B, but I was absolutely blown away the moment I walked in. The lobby and courtyard feature a charming new Chinese style, complete with bluestone rockeries and the soothing sound of flowing springs. Its central location is fantastic; despite being right next to the bustling Furong Street and Qushui Pavilion, it boasts an incredibly quiet courtyard – truly an oasis of calm in the city. We stayed in a room with a private courtyard, and as soon as we entered, my child made a beeline for the swing chair and had a blast. The room itself was incredibly well-equipped: a comfortable king-sized bed, a large bathtub that my child loved splashing around in, and a shower with great water pressure. Everything was spotlessly clean, which was reassuring when traveling with a child. The staff at Courtyard No. 8 were exceptionally warm, attentive, and always ready to help, assisting us with our luggage and guiding us through the check-in process. We took so many beautiful photos in the courtyard during our stay. Absolutely fantastic!

This is what the meaning of you get what you pay for. As little as the price can be, cannot have such high expectations on reason why you want the greatest of the great. After reading reviews, many said location was convenient, assuming it would be on the main road but not, i didn't meant as in I felt unsafe, just wasn't what I was expecting (not a big deal). It's inside a building with other hotels. Waiting for the elevator was a nightmare, there was only 1 that goes up and then down, felt like 5min passed, but that's just an exaggeration. If you're in a hurry, make sure to set some time for the elevator run. I came a bit early, and they accepted my early check in, which was lovely. The employees are very friendly, even giving tours to each new customers checking in. It's a small hostel, place was cleaned often, security was good. It's a bit funny to see the gym room right in the open of the entrance after check in. They had a shoe cabinet, so indoor was slipper only, I like that idea so the room doesn't smell like feet. Bed was nice, love the shelving unit that can fit lots of stuff too. The lockers are nice, each installed with a rack, convenient to store lots of hangers, space is really big too, enough to fit a backpack in. The issue I didn't like were the bathroom. I was very amazed yet confused on where do I store my clothes in the shower room, the only privacy being in tact was a curtain, it remains me of those Japanese onsen. Had to makeshift a space for my clothes and towel to be in the shower cubicle. Toilets reminds me of public toilets yet much cleaner and smells better. The sink to brush your teeth is very limited. Being 4/5 for everything, meant that it wasn't an issue. Everything was clean, service was great, you have everything you need, doesn't have to be top-tier. It was an experience for me and very budget friendly hotel.

Environment: It takes less than 5 minutes to get to the Laotun subway station, which is very convenient. Hygiene: The room is spacious, clean and tidy, and you can see that it is cleaned frequently. I soaked in the bathtub after a tiring day, which was very comfortable 😌, and I felt that every pore was taken care of. Service: I checked in at almost 11 o'clock in the evening. The waiter was very friendly and not impatient at all. When I entered the room, I saw the prepared snacks. People who like to eat midnight snacks said it was very heartwarming 🥰 Facilities: The do not disturb function in the room is really great. I can sleep until the sun rises the next day. It's really great. Once the curtains are drawn, no one loves them. The airtightness is great. When I left, the souvenirs I was given included masks. Tears welled up in my eyes🥹. I didn't expect there would be so many catkins in Jinan when I came here, so I didn't prepare them. I didn't expect the hotel to be so considerate and prepare them. When I arrived near Baotu Spring, there were as many catkins as the wind. Thanks to the hotel for providing them😷🥳 I will come to this hotel again next time I come to Jinan. The bed is very comfortable and everything is great. I don't want to leave😋

My overall stay was very satisfying. The room was clean and tidy, and the facilities were complete and well-maintained. The bedding was comfortable, and I slept soundly.
