I've stayed in so many hotels, and this is the first time I've ever seen such a device! The airport drop-off service was exceptionally good, and they even provided breakfast for the journey. "Following up on my previous review of the king room. The most baffling thing happened after we switched to the executive twin room. My friend arrived at the hotel at 10:30 PM, but I hadn't told the front desk her name, nor had I informed them that someone would be coming. I also requested two room cards and didn't leave one at the front desk for her to pick up. However, when my friend arrived at 11 PM, she went directly to the front desk to check in. The front desk staff asked for the room number and my name, which my friend provided. Without even calling me to confirm, they issued her a third room card and allowed her to use it to come up to the room. This is truly terrifying, especially since I booked an executive room – it feels like there's absolutely no privacy. I'd like to ask, what's the point of hotels limiting room card access to only the floor you're staying on, when they can just issue a room card to someone else without the room owner's permission? The next day, the hotel called and directly addressed my friend by name, even after I corrected them, they continued to make the same mistake for two days. Intercontinental, you've really lost your charm for me. Also, a complaint about the Eggs Benedict at breakfast – they claim it's freshly made, but it's clearly a pre-made dish that's just been heated on the surface. The egg skin was burnt, and the inside was cold. The third picture is of the executive lounge dinner, and the variety was quite limited as well. Very disappointing."

The room had good natural light and ventilation, and all the infrastructure was well-maintained. The breakfast offered a wide variety of choices, and the taste was decent, satisfying daily dining needs. Housekeeping staff provided excellent service, keeping the public areas very clean. The only minor drawback is that some details could be further optimized. All things considered, it offers decent value for money. It's suitable for both business trips and short getaways. I would prioritize this hotel again on my next visit and highly recommend it to anyone planning a trip."

"This is my second time staying at the Hyatt Regency Jinan, after four years. The hotel was originally a Wanda property under the Hyatt brand. The service is just okay, neither particularly warm nor bad. The room I was given wasn't great; the marble around the bathtub in the bathroom was cracked all the way around, which is a safety hazard and could easily cut a guest's skin. A room like this should be taken out of service, not assigned to guests. There were also a few hairs in the room, but it wasn't a severe issue."

Knowing I had an important meeting the following day, he generously upgraded me to a more spacious executive king room free of charge – a delightful surprise that gave me a perfect first impression of the hotel! However, shortly after checking in, I discovered the room's heating wasn't working properly. After calling the front desk, Sunny Sun, who was on duty that night, didn't hesitate to help without hesitation. She immediately and sincerely accompanied me to check the room, bringing the key with her. After confirming the problem, she patiently showed me three other vacant rooms of the same type, helping me test the temperature and ventilation of each one. Throughout this process, she maintained a high level of professionalism and a warm smile, ultimately helping me find a perfect room that was both quiet and comfortably heated. Her sincerity and efficiency in resolving the issue were incredibly touching! Throughout the entire process, from Leo Song's generosity in proactively upgrading the room to Sunny Sun's patience in tirelessly changing rooms, their seamless teamwork transformed a potentially terrible accommodation experience into a deeply moving and heartwarming memory! The Wyndham Garden Hotel Jinan West Railway Station boasts an impeccable location for business travelers, but it was truly outstanding employees like Leo Song and Sunny Sun—who genuinely put guests first and diligently solve every problem—that made my choice of your hotel the deciding factor. "This was my second stay, and the overall experience was significantly better than the first. The hotel's attitude towards handling guest complaints is truly commendable. After my first visit, I raised several issues, and the hotel management proactively reached out to me, specifically inviting me back for another experience. This time, I had booked a standard twin room, but upon arrival, I received a complimentary upgrade to a river-view balcony room. Opening the balcony door immediately presented a stunning night view of the ancient city's canals. The room was spacious, and the cleanliness, bedding, and bathroom details were all meticulously maintained. The hotel's location is excellent; you can enter and exit Mingquan Ancient City an unlimited number of times by swiping your room card. There are even exclusive viewing spots for the Spring Water Show. The breakfast offered a rich variety of local specialties, and the staff were very responsive. My only significant reservation, which lowers the facilities score, is that for a five-star luxury resort hotel, there's surprisingly no on-site laundry room. To do laundry, you have to drive a mile or two to another one of their properties. Although the laundry service is free, the hassle of traveling back and forth is quite inconvenient for guests on longer trips or those traveling in the summer. This aspect falls short compared to other five-star hotels of similar caliber, and I hope the hotel will install on-site laundry facilities soon. Overall, the service, ambiance, and room type are all outstanding. The only minor drawback is the supporting facilities. Despite this, it's definitely a recommended stay."

"I started staying at Atour hotels over ten years ago. Later, with so many other hotels popping up and Atour's prices remaining high, I felt the value for money wasn't there, so I stopped staying for a while. My membership even dropped from gold to silver. This summer, I took my elderly parents and kids on a trip to Shandong and decided to stay at Atour again. That familiar feeling came right back! The hygiene and service were both superb. Even though there was a minor hiccup along the way, everything was resolved perfectly. A big thumbs up to the staff!"

"Had an absolutely delightful stay! 😃 I was in Jinan for a business trip, attending a conference at the Shandong Convention and Exhibition Center, and this hotel is just a 10-minute drive away. I love taking baths, and there's a fantastic bath center downstairs (with excellent service too!), plus the room itself has a bathtub 🛀. The hotel is conveniently located right in the Impression Jinan Quanshijie commercial street, so there's an abundance of great food options just outside the door 😋. I didn't realize how bustling the area was before I arrived. The evening musical fountain ⛲️ was incredibly beautiful, and it wasn't too crowded, so I had a wonderful time exploring and eating. I checked in in the afternoon, and they thoughtfully upgraded my room type, letting me pick a room I liked. They also gave me welcome fruits 🍊 and yogurt, complimentary breakfast and access to the bath center, and even helped me with my laundry. They were enthusiastic and responsive to all my requests. Every morning, I enjoyed a delicious and hearty breakfast before heading to my conference. After work, I'd come back, stroll around, grab some food, and then relax with a bath. The entire business trip was incredibly comfortable and pleasant 😊"

Shangquan Lishe Diyiquan Hotel
"The name says 'hotel', but it's more like a guesthouse, converted from a restaurant. You can tell the room is a bit small – it'd be fine if it were a hotel private room, but the entire place and the room itself are very well-designed. First, the cons: 1. The laundry room has limited and somewhat outdated equipment. There's one dryer and one washer-dryer combo. What I don't understand is why the laundry detergent is at the front desk when the laundry room is on the 3rd floor. There's also no laundry basket in the room. 2. The breakfast selection is a bit limited. The food procurement needs to focus on fresh ingredients; the greens I had this time were a bit old. No coffee, no iced milk. And no napkins on the dining tables. 3. The room outlets lack USB-C ports. Now for the pros: 1. The hotel's location is excellent. Across the street is Shangxin Street, and just a left turn outside leads to the South Gate of Baotu Spring. Daming Lake is only 1.5km away. 2. There's a view. My room had a bay window, and some rooms have balconies (see pic 13). This 'do not disturb' indicator is something I haven't seen in a long time. While it's traditional and should be preserved, I suggest adding a 'do not disturb' light switch inside the room. Currently, an external light on means someone is in the room, and off means it's empty. 3. The front desk ladies are kind and beautiful, always ready to answer any questions! The service is excellent. After checking in, someone from cleaning escorted us to our room door and thoroughly explained the room's facilities and how to use them. 4. Each room seems to receive two large bottles of filtered Black Tiger Spring water, which is drinkable. However, it's not chilled. If they consider customer needs, they could chill one bottle in the fridge. In summary, the value for money is slightly low, but the overall experience was good. I hope the areas for improvement can be addressed."

"Great location, close to daming lake, wulongtan park and baotu spring. You can just scan hello bike and ride around to explore the city easily. There was a metro construction going on in front of the hotel while I stayed there, so staff offered me a quiet room facing the back side of the hotel, very considerate and mindful. Meanwhile cleanliness is a let down. Found this bug at the toilet floor. Noise cancelling wasn’t very great either, you can hear neighbours having great night while walking down the corridor lol Other than that, bed is comfortable, air con works just fine and AI smart home is A+ made your life easier."

"The Hilton Garden Inn at Jinan West Railway Station is definitely the top choice around the West Station area; the overall stay experience was impeccable! 1. **Location:** The location is superb, right next to Jinan West Railway Station. You don't have to walk far from the train to get straight to the hotel, making it the first choice for high-speed rail travelers and those in transit, saving a lot of travel time. 2. **Service Details:** Before check-in, the hotel staff proactively called to confirm my room preferences in detail, which was a thoughtful touch of pre-emptive service. The front desk staff were enthusiastic and processed check-in quickly, responding promptly to any requests. 3. **Room Environment:** The biggest plus was the soundproofing! The room door was thick and solid, completely blocking out noise from the hallway and outside. The room itself was incredibly quiet, allowing me to get a peaceful night's sleep after a long day of travel. 4. **Amenities:** It's equipped with a self-service laundry room and a gym, which is very convenient for both short and long trips, providing a one-stop solution for fitness and laundry. 5. **Breakfast Buffet:** The breakfast menu rotates regularly, updated every three days. I stayed for two nights and happened to catch a menu update, offering a wide variety of choices. The freshly cooked beef noodles and special *zongzi* (sticky rice dumplings) were delicious, with a balanced selection of both Chinese and Western options, and the taste was consistently good. Overall, the facilities, service, and dining are all excellent. It's quiet, comfortable, and conveniently located. I highly recommend it to anyone passing through Jinan West Railway Station!"

Environment: The location is excellent, about 100 meters outside the East Gate of Daming Lake. Turn left and walk straight out of the hotel to reach the scenic area. It's very convenient to get to nearby attractions like Baotu Spring and Black Tiger Spring by boat. Taxis are easy to find and the distances aren't far. There's also a bus stop right outside the hotel. Dining options nearby are also convenient. You can even watch peacocks while having breakfast at the hotel, and afternoon tea was also included. Service: The service was very warm and attentive. The housekeeper proactively looked out for guests' needs, making for a very comfortable experience. I originally only booked one day, but immediately extended my stay for another day after checking in."
