"We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Everything was clean, comfortable, and well-organized, but what really made the experience special was the service.
Berk was absolutely amazing — incredibly friendly, attentive, and professional. He went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcomed and taken care of, and his warm attitude truly made a difference during our stay. You can really feel that he cares about guests.

"Had a lovely stay, the staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. We requested a room close to the elevator and they gave us a spacious one just as we asked.
The location is fantastic, especially if you're visiting during the Christmas market season; everything is within walking distance.
The only downsides were the weak internet connection, so it’s better to have your own data plan if you rely on being online, and bed sheets are only changed upon request.
Overall, still a pleasant experience and would recommend for the location, helpful staff and lovely spacious rooms!"

"Zu meinem Aufenthalt: das Zimmer war sehr schön und das Bett total bequem. Sehr lobenswert fand ich, dass ihr Streamingdienste angeboten habt. Das war sehr cool. Das einfache Einchecken war auch ein großer Pluspunkt. Was gar nicht geht, ist das niemand zu erreichen ist, wenn es spät mal Probleme gibt… das sollte sich ändern. Bei uns hat der Strom nicht funktioniert, auch wenn es schon nach 1 Uhr war, ich musste mein Handy dringend laden, das wäre zu einem Problem geworden. Glücklicherweise hat mein Partner Ahnung von Elektrik, weshalb er das Problem vorübergehend lösen konnte. Abschließend noch ein dicker Minuspunkt: kurz nach 11 hat bereits jemand vom Reinigungsservice geklopft und hat kurz danach einfach unsere Tür geöffnet nachdem keine Antwort kam!!! ABSOLUTES NO-GO!!! Zumal wir bis 12 Uhr Zeit hatten. Als Pärchen ist man dann vielleicht gerade anderweitig beschäftigt, was unfassbar peinlich geworden wäre. Sowas darf echt nicht passieren!!"

"the location of the hotel was great as it was so close to the christmas markets and city centre and train statio. the staff were very friendly and helpful and tried to provide us with whatever we needed. however, sometimes the cleanliness of the rooms were not as consistent, but this is not a big issue since we could call them up to rectify and they were willing to do so."

"The hotel is very close to the Cologne Exhibition Hall, and it only takes a few minutes to walk there. The receptionist is very friendly. The room is clean and sanitary, and there is plenty of hot water. Disadvantages: Breakfast is a bit expensive at 28 euros; the quilt is too thin and too short (but not cold).
Summary: I will choose this place again when I attend the Cologne Exhibition next time."

"The location is good, it's only a ten-minute walk to Cologne Cathedral, and it's also very close to the main train station. The hotel is not big, the decoration is OK, it feels like the money has been spent on the whole house smart system, there is no small refrigerator but there is a coffee machine. The toiletries are L'Occitane and they are pretty good, overall it's OK. Because there is a premium during the exhibition, everything else is OK."

"Nice hotel - we had a double room which came with a view of the cathedral. The bed wasn't a double but two singles pushed together, which was fine. Beds were very soft, pillows were poor (very very thin). Overall reasonable for the money, especially given the location I would stay again."

"Stay was ok but even for 3* I found various factors very upsetting;
#1. Stairwell main fire escape ALL doors were wedged open!! Is this legal?!
#2. Entering the room my first impression as a stained seemingly worn out carpet looking disgusting!!
#3. Using the toilet I found I could not close the door because the toilet IS IN THE WAY!!! *******!!!
#4. The safe for my keys, money and passport was BROKEN and impossible to use - no handle, no batteries. This gave me a worried feeling throughout my stay!!!
#5. THE TELEVISION DID NOT WORK - and it seems HASNT WORKED FOR WEEKS!! Outrageous and in breach of your contract.
#6. A small but simple point to correct - a missing bedside lamp shade.
#7. Finally just a point of service with the lady serving breakfast noisily clipclooping about in her shoes as well as being surly and noisy with serving and clearing breakfast

The reception were apologetic and I was moved to another room - the bathroom also had some hairs. Cologne is a beautiful city and the hotel is well located, however it was overpriced for the standard unfortunately. I wish I had booked one of the other hotels and I definitely will next time. There should not be a number of hairs on the floor if it is properly cleaned. Very disappointed

GGuest UserThe rooms were really spacious and the breakfast was delicious!! I would really recommend booking that if you‘re staying here. The only thing I have to criticize is that the gym is really small and it will quickly get crowded if multiple guests want to use it at once. There is only one multi use machine and treadmills, a bike and some weights which are way too heavy for most trainings. Overall we had a really great stay though!

The location was convenient, about a five-minute walk from the nearby bus stop. Tourist attractions like Cologne Cathedral and the Old Town are easily accessible by public transportation or taxi. Small supermarkets and small eateries are nearby, making daily groceries and meals convenient. The room was of moderate size, spacious enough for a single occupancy but a bit cramped for a double. The furniture and furnishings showed some signs of use, but were generally clean and tidy, and the bedding was perfectly soft, ensuring a pleasant sleep. The bathroom had a nice, dry/wet area with a reliable hot water supply. The toiletries were basic, but those with skincare needs are advised to bring their own. Regarding service, the front desk staff were friendly, efficient, and helpful. Check-in and check-out were both prompt and helpful. They patiently answered questions about directions to attractions, but they didn't proactively offer any extra touches (such as local recommendations or extended luggage storage). Breakfast is a simple buffet with basic items like bread, ham, eggs, coffee, and juice. The taste is quite satisfactory and can satisfy your hunger, but those who seek a richer meal may find it a bit monotonous. The bed was big enough for me and my child; since we booked for two adults and one child, they even provided an extra bed, so we had three beds in total! The location is fantastic. It's very close to the train station and Cologne Cathedral, just a 5-minute walk away, yet it's tucked away from the main hustle, which made us feel quite safe and secure. We took a stroll near the hotel and discovered a highly-rated restaurant. We tried some authentic German cuisine there, and it was quite good. Cologne is truly wonderful; we even got some photos just like Jay Chou's!
I highly recommend Trip.com! All our hotels for this Europe trip were booked through them, and it gave us great peace of mind. I compared their prices with several major platforms, and they truly offered the best rates. Highly, highly recommended!

GGuest UserWhen I was checking in, I was a little worried the staff would be unable to speak English. However the two receptionists who helped me were perfectly fluent and answered any questions I had. I did unfortunately have to pay a city tax on top of my room, but it wasn’t expensive and this is a common thing in most hotels in Europe.
The room itself was pretty decent and had plenty of space for my suitcase and to walk around. The en-suite was great and had good towels and hot shower. The bed was comfy with a good mattress and duvet wise, but the pillows were a bit limp and didn’t have a lot in them. I spoke to another member of staff who spoke little English, who said he’d look and bring one to my room, but this never happened. Whatever the case, still had a good sleep, would have better with extra head comfort.
As for breakfast, there was a great variety of choice from fry-up food (bacon, sausages, eggs) to continental pastries and drinks. I would say the only downside was there was not enough for fruit, as there was only a few apples and plates of sliced oranges. Would have been better if there was more to choose fruit wise, but everything else was great and was a good fuel up for the day in Cologne.
When checking out, they also allowed me to place my luggage and bags in their storage room with zero charge which is great when you’re exploring for the day and have a later departure time.
Overall, if you’re in Cologne for a day (like me) or two, this place is a great option and I would stay here again!

GGuest UserStruggled to get through to the hotel as the phone number on the app used to make booking was in correct. The hotel is easy to find and transport links from the airport I give a 10/10 plus connection to the city was super easy. Upon arrival, the service desk staff were pleasant and apologised. Finally checked in and the room was clean and well done. However, my room was facing the major road and extremely noisy during the entire stay as the road is a busy one.
Ordered a late dinner and disappointed with my under done beef patty, the bun it came with required an electric knife to get through. I did complain and an apology was given.
Now, the hotel room doors bang whenever they’re being closed and made my stay unbearable. Something definitely needs to be done as I was put off!! Before retiring to bed, I hung the notice to not be disturbed..alas! the following morning after breakfast I just wanted to have a quiet time but I was rudely interrupted, disturbed coupled with the loud doors as the cleaners went about their inspections 2 x in a space of 10 minutes.
I would have loved to stay here on future visits but it’s a NO!!
The breakfast was lovely, sauna and swimming pool facilities too. I did not use the gym. Otherwise it’s in a good safe location.

- Location is right in the middle of everything and few steps from the Cologne Cathedral and the Cologne Central Station.
- Most of the staff were nice and helpful. The young lady (she had curly hair) and the Dutch man were amazing and friendly!
- The room given to us was huge! It had a living room.
- The price was affordable considering we went during peak holiday season with the Christmas markets open.
The Bad:
- We were on the 5th floor and the lift was only until the 4th floor. We had to carry our luggages up 2 flights of stairs to get to our room. Also the lift was tiny! It could only fit 2 persons or 1 person with luggage.
- Heating was not working. When we arrived, we were wondering why we had 2 portable heaters (with 1 not working), we realised the radiators were not working!
- The bathroom stank the whole room everytime we came in from outside. It seemed to come from the drainage.
- The bathroom has a huge window (not frosted, no curtain) that makes you uncomfortable when showering! I had to turn the lights off at night so I wasn't visible from outside. And during the day, I had to crouch.
- The shower cubicle was so tiny! I kept hitting the shower lever so the temperature kept changing while showering. I had to leave the glass door open so I can move.
- The sofas in the living room had stains.
- The king bed was actually 2 single bed beds placed side by side and I kept falling into the middle crack.
- The mattress had a lump in the middle. It was uncomfortable.
- There was 1 female staff (older lady), who was rude. We asked to collect our luggage we left after we checked out and she had this pissed off expression like we bothered her for asking.
I had high expectations as I have stayed in Wyndham hotels before and this hotel was not up to par.
