"We stayed there for one night because of its proximity to the airport and we must catch an early flight next morning. Thought it was just a hotel offering convenience but it is far more than that. It has all the facilities that guests can enjoy a holiday or a leisure break there, e.g. a very clean, comfortable and big room; the balcony is big enough for two chairs and a table where guests can enjoy the view of garden and the lovely swimming pool; a bar of vibe. Did appreciate the restaurant staffers' hospitality. Its breakfast starts from 6:30am so provides much convenience to guests like us who need to fly out in early morning."

"The guesthouse was fantastic! The cook and staff were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and lovely! Air conditioning was a welcome relief during Marrakech's sweltering summer! The location was also superb, very close to Dagblad Square and the Royal Palace of Bahia, less than 200 meters away, right in the heart of the city. It was conveniently located with easy access to everything. Even just staying in the hostel and chatting with the receptionist and other guests from different countries was fun; we even shared meals together!"

"The hotel is right next to the train station. The cleanliness was just okay, but the area felt safe. There's a McDonald's nearby, and the room had a bathtub. When checking in, make sure to ask about the city tax (this is a common issue in Marrakech hotels)."

"The hotel's location is pretty good, and it mainly focuses on hot springs. I saw a lot of foreigners wearing bathrobes, heading to the sauna on the basement level. Breakfast was just okay, with not many options. What was interesting was that two little birds and a cat flew into the breakfast room, adding some fun to the restaurant. The hotel staff were quite efficient, but communication was a bit troublesome. I have to commend the underground parking garage; it was clean and staffed."

"Sorry for the long review, but I wanted to be as informative as possible and share the information I would have liked to know before booking. This was my 5th trip to Marrakesh and my first stay at Savoy Le Grand. I was quite nervous booking after reading some negative reviews, but overall I had a very pleasant experience. From the moment we stepped out of the taxi, we were warmly welcomed by Salah (concierge) and the Moroccan tea man in reception. From check-in to check-out (4 days later), all staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Everyone we encountered spoke Arabic, French, and English, which made communication very easy. The foyer is beautiful, and the grounds are extremely well cared for—even more beautiful than expected. That said, there is ongoing construction and upgrades, which are not mentioned on the website. This is currently their quiet season, and the main construction is above the reception building, which is being extended upwards. Noise started daily around 9:15am, drilling around 9:38am, and finished around 6:30pm. Estimated completion is 1 May 2026. If you request a room near the second smaller pool, the noise is much less noticeable. The noise is louder and echoes more around the main pool due to the square layout. The hotel has four pools: two outdoor and two indoor. One indoor pool is heated and includes jacuzzi jets. There is also an additional indoor jacuzzi at the spa, charged at MAD 250 per person for one hour. There are three à la carte restaurants on site: Moroccan, International, and Italian. Directly outside the hotel are a supermarket, Paul, Chilli’s, and Papa John’s. Please note that outside food is not allowed inside the hotel. There is an ATM in reception and direct access to Menara Mall, which closes at 10pm. Special thanks to Nabil at reception, who did an excellent job checking us in. He listened carefully to my needs and arranged early check-in to a ground-floor room close to the restaurants, spa, and gym, with a garden and pool view. Soundproofing from the pool area was good, although hallway noise does travel. The grounds are beautiful, but the ground-floor rooms occasionally had a sewage smell, which I’ve also experienced at other Moroccan hotels. We did experience a few issues with our first room (heating not working, leaking fridge, slow-draining sink). Without us needing to complain, Soukayna from guest relations came first thing the next morning and immediately arranged for us to move to a beautiful suite. This level of customer service, care, and attentiveness is exactly what you expect from a 5-star hotel. In the evening there’s live entertainment music in the bar and outside a light & water fountain display. The suite was stunning—very spacious, with a separate living area, two balconies, lots of storage, mini fridge, large sofa, king-size bed, two TVs, kettle, coffee machine, safe, bathrobes and slippers. The bathroom had two sinks (standard rooms have one), plenty of toiletries (no washcloths), a large shower with both handheld and waterfall options, and excellent water pressure. There wasn’t much space to hang items, and there is a bidet hose beside the toilet. Thank you to the head cleaning lady for the final touches and maintaining a high standard of cleanliness. I’d like to thank all the staff for providing us with a wonderful stay. I love the Moroccan people—they are humble, kind, and always willing to help. Despite the construction, I achieved my goal of relaxation and a short break. This is now my new favourite hotel in Marrakesh, and I will definitely return and recommend it to friends and family"

"Positives: - beautiful, clean and luxurious - perfect location, doesn’t get any better than this - friendly, helpful and brilliant staff whether the doormen, bell men, reception staff or restaurant and cafe staff; specials thanks to Amina, Abdullahi, and Fatiha.  - proper prestigious hotel with riad and cultural feel  - good breakfast - perfect selection of restaurants and cafes with delicious food - the ambiance is amazing and in the evenings it’s serene with colours, live music and fragrance.  - views from the roof top pool and sky bar is the probably the best in the city.  Improvements:  - air conditioning could have been better. Having said that the lobby and roof top restaurant were always much cooler so probably just our room or because of the heat outside but it definitely didn’t feel cool during day time.  - lady at omelette station at breakfast always had an attitude for no reason at all."

"We stayed for one day. The breakfast was modest, but you probably won't go hungry. A huge downside was that the sheets weren't changed. I pointed out the dirt and hair on the bedsheet, and the staff member just said, 'So what?' She then brought another dirty sheet. It took three attempts to get a clean one, which was horrible. The toilet and sink were dirty, and people clearly smoke in the room, so there was a strong odor. There was a safe in the room, but no hair conditioner, cotton buds, or tissues. Maybe we've been spoiled by other 4-star hotels, but there was absolutely nothing here... They also put us next to a room undergoing major renovations, so there was a loud banging noise starting at 8 AM. Luckily, we had an extra three hours and were already heading out. I definitely wouldn't come back here. On the plus side, it's about a 15-minute walk to the train station."

They were always willing to help with a smile, responded quickly to any request and made sure every detail of my stay was comfortable and stress-free. Their attention to customer service and genuine care for guests really stood out. It’s clear that the team takes pride in their work and goes above and beyond to ensure visitors have a great experience. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. A very big thank you to one of the staff who stood out, Ismail. His professionalism and kindness made my stay memorable. He is an asset to the hotel I would happily stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for excellent service and a warm, welcoming atmosphere."

"The breakfast is very good, the service is very good, you can add an extra bed, the room has a kind of fragrance and feels good! It's very close to the palace and the city that never sleeps. There is a swimming pool where you can swim!"
