Overall: The location is perfect! The famous attwithin a walking distance. Housekeeping: It was clean and comfortable to stay. Fresh linen and tea/coffee were provided every day. Facilities: TV set was taken away off the wall for some reason and central heating wasn’t working (it was not too cold so it wasn’t a problem and I was busy sightseeing so no tv wasn’t a problem too) Front desk: Very friendly and attentive.

Very nice hotel, nice staff, clean room. Shower a bit small but otherwise great

The room was very small. We originally booked a standard room, but when we arrived at the hotel we were told it was an economy room. Because we arrived too late, the hotel might have arranged the room and gave us a very, very small room. They said they could change us the next day, but then they told us there was no room. We originally wanted to stay a few more days, but we had to change hotels later. After all, we didn't want this to affect our mood when we were out for fun. I took a quick look while cleaning and found that their rooms are very small, but the hotel is located in the old city, close to Topkapi Palace, so it is very convenient to travel.

This hotel is in a great location and good value for money. Very friendly staff, excellent breakfast, clean and spacious rooms. Compares better then some 4star hotels. Recommend this hotel to anyone on a budget.

Hotel is perfectly situated -minute walk to tram station, couple of minutes downhill to Eminonu, or a nearrest supermarket (Greens, uphill walk), tiny shop/kiosk literally across the street and lots of dining options of all price ranges (Balkan Lokantasi was our favorite). Staff members were really nice, especially receptionist, (sorry I didnt catch your name :) ) Lovely breakfast, clean room.

Cons: (1) Shower is very small. So small you can barely stretch your arms. About 1.5 sqm! (2) Shower water leaks all over the tiny bath room. (3) Bathroom is tiny. Barely stretch your arms (4) Room is tiny. No space to put the luggage of a couple. (5) Bed is very hard. (6) Bed is too small for a couple (7) Very noisy - street noise and noise of other rooms. One can hear conversations. (8) Lift is not always functioning. Which means some poor hotel staff have to carry heavy luggage up and down the steps. (9) Location is terrible: it is so crowded that no taxi would want to take you to anywhere else such as Fatih. No Uber taxi would want to come. Better to chose another area in Istanbul to stay in and just make it a day trip to see the historial sites. The food and services are over priced and just poor. Poor food, poor sleep - a tourist trap!

I will never forget the wonderful time I had at Raymond Hotel. I was really pleased with the hotel's comfortable rooms, wonderful view and welcoming staff. Its location was also very practical as it was close to the city center. I would definitely like to visit again!

If you go to the terrace of a modest hotel within walking distance of the touristic places of Sultanahmet and Hagia Sophia, you will encounter a magnificent view of Istanbul. Mr. Abdullah helped us a lot, I would like to thank him also.

Located in a quiet area but very convenient for getting around, 10 minutes walk from the blue mosque and the grand bazaar, in a short walk you can also reach the Taxsim area which is very chaotic and full of shops. The hotel was cleaned every day, friendly staff, room a little small but overall it was fine. The breakfast is a bit poor, you find a lot of savory Turkish things and not much for Europeans, however it was very good for the price paid.

La struttura è vetusta e non propriamente pulita. La nostra era una camera familiare a piano terra con due camere di cui una senza finestre. Il bagno piccolo e al nostro arrivo il water non funzionava. Per fortuna è stato subito riparato ma per i tre giorni che abbiamo dormito lì c'era un generale odore di fogna che arrivava dal bagno. I letti piccoli e particolarmente scomodi. Il personale della reception era gentile e la colazione varia anche se totalmente turca per cui ci si deve adattare parecchio (Scordatevi croissant e crostate alla marmellata per intenderci). In compenso la posizione è comoda a Sultanhamet. Insomma, non uno dei migliori posti in cui ho soggiornato in vita mia e sono stata contenta di andarmene.

Zentrale Lage, die wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuß erreichbar, vielen Lokale in der Umgebung, Personal an der Rezeption war super-freundlich und hilfsbereit, Zimmer war klein (war im Vorfeld bekannt), Zimmer o.k., Bad war relativ groß und geräumig, Frühstücksbuffet reichhaltig. Hervorzuheben ist die Roof-top-Bar mit ausgezeichneten Cocktails und tollem Blick auf Istanbul, wir waren insgesamt zufrieden und das Hotel hat unsere Erwartungen erfüllt, Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis in Ordnung
