It was noon when we arrived at the hotel. The room we stayed in had just been cleaned and the floor was not dry after mopping. As soon as we stepped into the room, we smelled a bad smell. The cleaning lady was right next to us. She said it was the smell of disinfectant and asked us to open the window to blow it in. But it was definitely not the smell of disinfectant. All the windows were opened and blew for 20 minutes until the floor was dry. The head of the bed still had a bad smell. We told the front desk, but they didn't say they would change our room or anything. We originally wanted to stay for two nights because the courtyard environment was nice, but it was too smelly so we only stayed for one night. It's hard to describe the smell. It's urine mixed with the smell of foot droppings. My friend said it's because the mop hasn't been changed for too long and it's become smelly. Also, the water from the faucet is a little bit smelly and not very useful. Other disposable items are fine.
