Hotel is walking distance from Shiroyama park where you can do a hike to have an elevated view of the Kagoshima city beneath it. it is also close to Tennmonkan that has wide food choices and shopping. The toiletries are available at the lobby for free use. Coin operated laundry is available but almost always occupied.

Amazing hotel, truly. Conveniently located near the airport shuttle stop and tram stop. All the combini nearby, lots of restaurants and cafes. It is situated at the corner of the arcade quarters, so it is very comfortable to walk almost anywhere under the roof that protects you from both sun and rain. Walking distance from ferry to Sakurajima and toppy/rocket port to Tanegashima and Yakushima (sadly, no arcades on that stretch of distance). The rooms are nice and clean, with comfortable beds and pillows, amenities are amazing (bath salts and coffee drips even!). The service is top-notch! They even provided a shoe drying machine and helped us on several occasions. Probably best value for money in Kagoshima if you're looking for an affordable but comfortable stay.

A very good memories staying in Richmond hotel Kinseicho, the staffs are very friendly, and it is convenient that there are laundry serivce(washing machine at the hotel) and free ice cube to take at 9th floor. The room was big though for one person staying. The environment was clean and quiet, I hope next time can bring my family here to stay. For the location, temonkan is nearby and easy to walk around Kagoshima city, I walked from hotel to Kagoshima Chuo Station, very convenient

I think it's a good hotel. It's about a 10-minute walk from Kagoshima Port, so I recommend it for those using the port. For breakfast, you can choose between Japanese and Western food, and the Japanese food was healthy and delicious. Salads and drinks were served buffet style. I was very satisfied with the staff, who were very helpful with my research and inquiries. I will definitely use this hotel again when I use Kagoshima Port.

If I were to visit Kagoshima again, I'd stay near Chuo Station. It feels newer and more lively. Tenmonkan-dori is full of bars where office workers go for drinks at night, but there doesn't seem to be much to see during the day. The room I was assigned this time faced a wall, so there wasn't much of a view. There's a good restaurant across from Yamagata on the first floor, but it closes at 7 p.m., so get there early.

The hotel is in a prime location, close to the pier and the planetarium district, making it convenient for traveling, shopping, and dining. The room is fully equipped, sanitary, and soundproofed. The corridor is quiet, and I had a good rest at night.

The service is very thoughtful! The location is great! Very close to the planetarium business district, and the breakfast is super delicious!
