The cleanliness of this room was below average compared to other Chinese hotels in similar price range..there were even quite a couple of hair on the ground. The friendliness of the staff was great and I felt welcome. Location is good, just in the heart of the city. Overall decent hotel for a decent price but please clean more properly.

Pros:
1) Reception staff were very friendly and always willing to help.
2) Water feature outside the hotel is pretty and good fun for young children to run round and play
Cons:
1) Air-con didn’t work. Despite being set on 10 degrees, the room never got lower than 24 degrees.
2) We had no hot water for our entire stay. We used an empty room next door to shower.
3) The floor had hairs from previous people staying, we had to ask for the floor to be cleaned again.
4) Breakfast….nothing to drink. And was the same food served at restaurants for dinner. Not great.

I have rarely given a bad review, but I am very dissatisfied with this one: it looks like a four-star hotel, but in reality it is just a false name, with high prices and poor quality, not even worthy of two stars; the room is small, and people often scratch and bump when walking, especially the bathroom and shower room, which are basically unusable for taller and fatter people; the facilities are old and seriously damaged, the faucet in the washbasin is covered with green rust, and you have to use all your strength to open it... There are many other problems omitted...
