Mekong River Jinglan Hotel East Tower Reviews

Felt like they were brushing us off. Kept saying that our room wasn't clean yet for hours and then when I pointed this out and complained they suddenly had a clean room for us. The room was fine although it should have been more impressive for the amount I paid. The buffet food was good when it was available. It seemed like they did not restock food when it got eaten. Very nice pool though.

Very huge hotel, well located on the left bank of the Mekong, therefore away from the city center and its infernal traffic. The place is calm especially in the evening and in the morning, which is essential for a good night's rest. The rooms are large, clean and offer all the amenities and services one would expect in a hotel like this. Small regret: no USB socket in the rooms ...... The service at the reception is impeccable, some staff speak a little English. The breakfast is huge, chinese and international, you will find there all what you like. Ample parking in the basement, free for hotel guests. The hotel is located at only 300 meters from great golden pagoda and most interesting at the same distance from Gaozhuang night market, which is a must see in Jinghong, dont miss it. The hotel also offers an exhibition of ancient local crafts, well documented and really interesting ( from Yunnan museum)

Located in the middle of 告庄 and the hotel has a big pool to keep children happy! The room is clean with very nice view!

This hotel is amazing and beautiful. It is enormous and has a spa, pool and even art gallery inside. You will not be bored. It is also just beside the night market. This is by far the nicest hotel downtown and any travellers we met staying in a resort on the outskirts of town wished they were staying where we were.

Biggest hotel in the old town area (best area to stay). All the comforts of a 5 star, but one issue -- it's along the river where the night market is, so it's very noisy until late at night. If you sleep early, get a room on the mountain view side.

Great location right by the night market. Staff didn’t speak English but quickly used a translation app to give me the relevant information about the pool and the breakfast.

Beautiful hotel located a short walk from the night market as well as many shops and restaurants. Rooms were clean, comfortable and specious. The breakfast had lots of choice but the real highlight were the swimming pools including pools for kids, an infinity pool, and heated pools.

The hotel is in a very good location. The lobby is very grand. When we arrived at the hotel, the butler Louis received us and helped us with our luggage. He introduced us to the hotel and attractions. The service attitude was very enthusiastic and the room type was upgraded. There are many things to do in the hotel

The room is very big, with a big balcony. The Starlight Night Market downstairs is very close. The hotel is at Entrance 9 and Exit 10, and it is within walking distance, which is very convenient. The hotel's hot spring pool is free to play. It is too hot in the afternoon and evening to go out, so it is just right for a hot spring. There are few people in the off-season, and it is clean and sanitary. The hot spring pool is between 35-41 degrees, which is very suitable

The location of the hotel is very good. The exit of the night market is right opposite the passage back to the hotel at night, which is very convenient. The lobby is very distinctive, the front desk reception is very polite, and the room is clean and tidy. Recommended!

The hotel is in an excellent location, in Gaozhuang Xishuangjing, on the bank of the Mekong River, and within walking distance of the Shwedagon Pagoda and the Starlight Night Market. The night view of this hotel is very beautiful. Standing on the balcony, you can see the beautiful scenery of the Mekong River, and the night view is dim. The hotel rooms are clean and hygienic, the breakfast is rich, the waiters are dressed in Dai costumes, and they are friendly. Because the hotel is divided into the East Tower and the West Tower, the waiters are patient in answering questions. The decoration of the hotel's main store is very beautiful, and the Dai style is fascinating.
