"Good morning , The facilities and service met our expectations. We would have appreciated having a room with a view of the sea, the mountain, the swimming pool or the gardens, even if it meant paying a little more, coming from France to admire the beauty of the landscapes. We had a room (53) which overlooked the street on one side (with a small terrace) and the parking lot on the other! We wouldn't have stayed for one night but we spent 6... We are therefore very disappointed by TRIP's contribution to this reservation, next time we will contact the hotel directly. Cdt"

"Overall, the hotel is decent. Friendly staff. But, their air cons are relatively old, so do expect sound. If you’re light sleeper, do bring a pair of ear plugs!"

"Close to the airport, there is a bus in front of the hotel. Parking fees in Honolulu are very expensive, and the hotel also charges $40 for parking. It is very convenient to take the bus directly into the city. Although the hotel is not very new, the hygiene is still good. We stayed there three times. We didn't want to rent a car when hopping islands, so we stayed here"

"In the hotel's restaurant. We had to wait some considerable time to be attended to, we ended up seating ourselves, getting our own menus and water, whilst the sole server juggled his other responsibilities. After a very ordinary fish & chips meal, with the thinnest fries we've ever seen we received a bill for the equivalent of AUD $90 to which not only had a 4% kitchen charge been added but additionally a further 18% service charge. Neither the meal or service justified this charge in any way. We left what we considered to be a fair and reasonable payment which more than covered the cost. For the AUD$ 75 cost we could have fed four people with a far better quality meal. We had been unable to use our drinks voucher in the restaurant, so after the meal we went to the bar in the same hotel to use our vouchers to get a drink. Whilst there a very disgruntled server from the restaurant and some random woman from the bar came and accosted us, snatching a jam jar of tap water we had brought round with us to finish at the bar. We were basically accused of stealing a jam jar of tap water whilst sitting at a bar in the same hotel, as paying guests! A waiter from the restaurant hung around the entire time just to ensure he got his jam jar back! Next morning we loaded our own cases onto the free shuttle bus. The driver tried to dismantle our cases, we asked him to leave our cases to allow space for other guests & we wanted them to stand in the luggage space adjacent to the rack, as they had done on the way to the hotel. The driver began shouting at us, threw a tantrum & went to get his boss, who came out & saw no issue with our cases. The driver then began driving recklessly, racing round corners and braking heavily. Guests had to tell him to slowdown and stop driving dangerously. He then made all the guests remove their own bags unassisted after we informed him his behaviour certainly did not warrant any tips! A shocking & horrible end to our holiday & not a very good advertisement for the USA Dreadful tipping culture of entitlement even if service does not warrant it! ."

"The hotel facilities are very new. The location is not near Waikiki Beach. It is about 3km away from the beach. If you want to go to the beach, you need to take a taxi or bus. There is a bus stop very close to the hotel. The front desk service is very good and enthusiastic."

"Located in the legendary city center. The mattress was sunken, and it was covered with a blanket, and the color was a bit inexplicable. Intensely contact yourself and bring a 4-piece set. Due to the old mattress, the head and feet are higher than the buttocks after going to bed. Service is acceptable. The air-conditioning sound is crazy loud, estimated to be 50 decibels. The space is larger and the sea view is a little bit too. The equipment is relatively complete, and you can cook if you are diligent."

"Staying at Manoa Inn feels like stepping into a living piece of Honolulu’s layered past. This plantation-style historical house is full of quiet character, from its timeworn woodwork to the gentle creak of its stairways. The inn is surrounded by gardens that seem to breathe—ferns unfolding, orchids slipping open, birds singing from hidden corners. One morning, I sipped coffee to the chatter of parrots and caught the city unfolding below through a frame of palms. The location is as thoughtful as the house itself—steps away from the East-West Center, the serene carp garden, and the Manoa Japanese Tea House. Nearby cafés and small eateries feed both hunger and curiosity without fanfare. Nothing here feels manufactured. The inn doesn’t shout for attention—it invites you to listen, to linger, to notice. I left with a sense of having not just visited, but having been quietly welcomed."

"This hotel I stayed in this time was newly built in 2024 and there would be no cockroaches, so I checked in. After staying there, I think it has both good and bad points. Advantages: The service is very enthusiastic; The swimming pool is on the 8th floor, a very clean place; There is a large water dispenser on the next floor, you can pour water when you leave the room, you don’t have to buy water yourself, nor do you have to pour water in the lobby and carry it up, which is very convenient; The hotel has a shuttle bus to Waikiki Beach every hour. The place where you get off is P2, which is a little distance from the beach. There is a return bus about every half hour, which is very convenient. The hotel's elevator is very fast. First, press the floor you want to go to at the door, and then the elevator will automatically allocate it. Basically, one floor per second, there is no pain of high-rise elevators at all, which is very good; Opposite is Ala Moana, Walmart, and buses. Let's talk about the disadvantages: I don't know about other rooms. The window of the room we booked is a large movable window that can be moved to the top of the room. Once the door is opened, it is a half-person-high glass, and then there is no protection, and there is no balcony. See p1, that is to say, more than 20 floors... If you open the window directly, a strong wind will fly out of the window, which I think is quite dangerous. So later we didn't open the window, but opened a crack for ventilation; Although the room was newly built in 24 years, the facilities in the room are already a bit broken. The bathtub drains slowly, the clothesline can't be retracted, and the remote control of the smart toilet is also broken... In general, I think this hotel is not worth five stars, at most it is a four-star, which is ok to stay in."
