Very confortable and quiet. Nice bed. Breakfast add some meat, bacon will be great

Scary part of town and blood drops in hallway We checked in after 11pm and left by 5:30AM. When arriving we were told about a $100 deposit that was not listed online. we came to our door and doorbell was missing. Came into the room notice broken mirror and hole in bathroom. As we were settling for bed my husband went toward the vending machines in the a building and notice a long line of blood spots down the hall way. Below picture is just one spot.

No hot water just warm water after running sink and bathtub several minutes. Hotel was under construction for remodeling in different phases. It was clean just not what I was expecting from online pictures. The breakfast lady was amazing. She was so nice and very attentive to everyone getting breakfast.

Gabriel checked me in and he was AMAZING. Please thank him for his competence and friendly service. The breakfast was good. It was not clear to me when I reserved the room that a security deposit was required. I forgot to take a picture of the room when I left, so I'm nervous about it being refunded. Also, the gates at the entrance were a little unnerving, although the area seemed safe.

Room for Improvement While the place overall wasn't terrible, there is definitely room for improvement. Room was clean and organized and staff seemed pretty friendly and did their best to help at check-in (staff for check-out seemed a little disinterested though). Some things that were missing or off-the-mark. Bearing in mind we were not in our room for very long as this was a very quick trip to KC for a concert, we were out early the next morning for home for other obligations so some things we didn't address to staff right away. * WiFi did not work at all. It did connect but no access to Interner resources. * Room didn't have a mini-fridge in it. Wasn't sure if that was by design or not. * Room was missing a TV remote. Staff informed us they ordered additional remotes but were not available. * One of the staff at check-in had an emotional break-down due to an issue with checking in another couple which they were patient and understanding. It did make the whole check-in process a little awkward. The rest of the accomodations were good. It looks like portions of the building are being updated so I'm sure improvements can be made.

The first room I got had blood on the sheets and light switch by the bed and the hot water didn’t work so they moved me to a better room in a different building and it was much better staff was nice and quick with the process
