We returned for a 3 night stay in April, and it was lovely to see many members of the Lango team had returned for the 2024 season! Lango is a well designed, impeccably clean, well maintained and managed hotel. What really sets this hotel apart from others is the team working to ensure you relax and enjoy your stay. The Lango team are all naturally very warm, friendly and engaging. On our arrival we received a really warm greeting as a returning guest, and then taken to our amazing room. I want to mention you both by name, but I forgot to make a note, sorry. Shortly after we settled in the room, we were brought a welcome drink, some sweet treats and a bottle of wine. On our first morning at breakfast we were greeted by the amazing Episteme, who remembered us and even our coffee order 8 months after our last visit! It is such a pleasure to see Episteme every morning, who takes the time to have a brief chat, and then checks on you throughout breakfast to ensure you have everything you need. Unlike other hotels, at Lango you are never left tying to get someone’s attention to order an omelette or coffee! The quality and taste of the food is also very good, and reasonably priced. We also appreciated that requests for non menu items were accommodated with additions being made to dishes we ordered. I’d also like to mention the man who I believe is the restaurant manger. He greets everyone in the morning, and takes the time to speak to you. It’s another example of the attention given to hotel guests. Bar team, as with everyone at Lango you are all very friendly and attentive. You weren’t all wearing name badges so I can only mention Dessy by name. Dessy thank you for our Pimms cocktails, this wasn’t a familiar drink to you, but you were keen to make it exactly how I wanted, and succeeded!! Zinet and the reception team, you are all amazing, thank you for always being very friendly, engaging and on hand to assist with any questions or requirements. It is thanks to Zinet when we visited last year and her detailed map of places to visit that cemented our appreciation of Kos! It doesn’t matter if it’s 7:30 am or midnight, whichever members of the reception team are working, they have a smile and enquire about our day/stay at the hotel. It is never a forced, unnatural politeness. I’d also like to mention Christina, the Hotel Manager. It is a credit to your recruitment, training and your management style to have such an amazing team, and so many returning employees for another season! Whilst I haven’t mentioned everyone by name, I would if I knew all of them! Thank you to everyone at Lango!
