Just came back last week, and without doubt we all ( 2 families of 8) had a fantastic time at Kouros Palace. The food was amazing if you prefer the healthy Mediterranean cuisine, loads of variety/choice & the salads were exceptional. Folks who like fried unhealthy food will always complain about the food being repetitive, they forget they're on a Greek Island where folks eat healthy. The bar closed at 11 pm, which was a little early I thought, maybe because the management do not want any issues with drunkards causing problems over consuming. Choice of alcoholic drinks were all local within the All Inclusive board, but you could buy most branded drinks too. Pools were great and clean. Private Beach a short walk away, there is a convenience store opposite the resort which was very handy too. A big thanks to all who made our experience a welcoming memorable one, especially the all rounder Aaron, Alexis, Riggs & the front desk reception team of: Nikos, Christos, Eleni and Tiffany too.

We arrived to a very warm and friendly receptionist . Our rooms were not ready but we could leave our cases in a room and could have lunch which was nice then we walked around the grounds which are lovely and clean . Our room was ok I found the beds hard but comfortable air con was needed but wasn’t working when we arrived too tip make sure the balcony doors our closed and it will work ! 2 little bottles of water left in the fridge not replenished (there is a shop opposite and we bought lots of water from there ! And Pringles too ) We stayed all inc which tbf was ok there was always something to eat and drink however very small beers and the wine was better with a dash of lemonade in it ! Cocktails were ok . Sunloungers were nearly always available but we did reserve our beds about 8am so we got a good shaded area . The beach was amazing as was the beach bar too please have the gyros there they were amazing and fresh ! Staff were fab down there . We loved the bright and friendly electric buggy driver Arron who was just abs bonkers in the nicest of ways ! The evening entertainment was ok too but do take a pack of cards with you . The entertainment guys during the day were great we enjoyed the yoga ,aqua fit and aqua Zumba .both pools were clean and checked regularly too . Hubby loves a gym but he did say it was average at best . Our girls rooms air con broke we told the reception and we were phoned when we were out to ask if it was ok to replace it an hour later which we said yes obs . We thought that was great service . Rooms cleaned every other day and fresh bedding too and towels . Do take all your own toiletries as there’s were not great but ok ! I would say it’s not a 5 * hotel but a good 4* ! Saying that we would come here again .

Just got back on Monday. What a fabulous holiday, we had a room with a pool. No issues with cleaning or towels , we had a broken kettle with was replaced straight away. All the staff were happy and always on hand to help or just chat too. Food was very good (don’t go to Greece expecting English food ) even though they do accommodate the fussy eaters. Pool bar fab , food and drinks lovely touch with Toni the waiter. Don’t even have to move from the sun lounge The a la carte was delicious especially with the sunset location. The hotel is out of the way , but that’s what we wanted. Ten euros to the town we ate in the blue light which was delicious and plentiful and chill out lounge was good for watching sport. The only thing I would say is too have a mini bar in the rooms with the pool. So you still have the all inclusive We have stayed in The Grand Blue which is the same chain of hotels and certainly meant the standard we expected. We will definitely be back, but for 2 weeks next year .

My partner and I have just returned from an 11 night holiday at the Kouros palace. The hotel is set in beautiful grounds and are kept spotless along with the pool areas with plenty of sunbeds. There is also a wonderful sea view surrounding the hotel. A short walk away the hotel has its own private beach with plenty of beds and parasols, there is also a beach bar which serves a light lunch if you don't want to to have dinner back at the hotel. The evening entertainment is good. The daily entertainment is good especially the aqua aerobics in the pool, the guy who does this is absolutely fantastic. As the complex is large they have a golf buggy which you can flag down or ring reception for a lift, this is driven by Aaron, what a character this young man is, always has a smile for everyone and is such an asset to the hotel. The down side to the hotel is the house keeping of the rooms, for a 5 star i would have expected daily cleaning especially when you cannot flush paper in the toilet. Having to ask reception for toilet paper is not good. This hotel is very remote, it takes 45 minutes to walk into the nearest village which is not a pleasant walk. You can take a taxi. The food in the restaurant was often cold and this needs addressing. We did enjoy our holiday and thought it was good value for money.

- With it being a 5 star you have to pay 10 euros a night tax, this might be why it’s labelled a 5 star. - Room was outdated, with the white spot lights it makes it very clinical. - The smell of sewage coming from the bathroom fills the accommodation with a bad odour. - When we got there the shower head was in the bath, we had to ask for the attachment to be fixed. - In the bedroom there’s a red light which is overpowering at night, see picture. - When we got there two single beds were set up and it was like this for 3 days before cleaners decided to put the sheets together. - You only get given one pillow each and the first 2 nights neither of ours had pillow cases on. No duvets just a sheet. - It’s meant to be an all inclusive but you have to pay for bottles of water and any drinks after 11pm. - The guy at the top pool bar we found rude, we asked him to fill our water bottles up but he only wanted liquids in the paper cups. - A lot of the sunbeds are filthy. - You have to ask to have your rooms cleaned on the day, otherwise they’re done every other day. - You have to pay for any drinks at the Al a Carte restaurant. - In the 7 days we didn’t see the pools getting cleaned. Lacking staff. - In the evening without fail you have to queue for drinks. Again lacking staff. - Never before have I had to get my own drink at lunch and dinner. - It’s lacking food choice, only really one meat option each meal. - The ground from the hotel to the beach, looks very untouched and not maintained. - Although dressing gowns are supplied, they looked very over worn, see picture. - The shower curtain had a hole in and not long enough so water still went everywhere. For a 5 star this should be a shower screen instead.
