APA Hotel Kyoto Ekihigashi

This hotel is located a block or within 3 minutes walking distance from Kyoto Station. We purchased the JR Kansai West and was able to use it since the hotel's excellent location. We fell in love with Kyoto and everyday spent there was worth it. We didn't get the breakfast package but since the hotel is very near the main train station there are so many places to have your meals. Also there is a 7/11 across the street. The hotel also has its own coffee shop and restaurant. We had a King size bed. And although the room is small (expect that in Japan) it had everything we wanted. The staff was very helpful. All you need: shampoo, shaver, tooth brush, hair comb, cotton buds, wash cloth is all provided. We definitely recommend this hotel and if we do come back we will return here.

This hotel is very conveniently located very close to Kyoto’s main railway station (5 minute walk). Staff were friendly, efficient and welcoming with good English spoke thtroughout. Like most Japanese hotels the room and the hotel generally, was spotlessly clean. The room was decent sized for single occupancy. The adjoining restaurant to the hotel provided an excellent, varied buffet breakfast. Other facilities provide within the hotel included vending machines, laundromat and a spa bath area.
