Excellent location. Helpful staff, regardless of languages spoken. Small room and uncomfortable mattress. Otherwise outstanding.

Pleasant and comfortable but small a bit for 4 person. Clean and nice staff

The ladies at the lobby were extremely kind. They went above and behind explaining how to get to our destination until we understood in English for us. The breakfast at the cafeteria was okay and I liked the selections for the drinks too. The room was very clean and perfect for our family!

Hotel is 5 mins walk from the train station and 15 mins walk to Kawaramuchi-dori street. It is also 3 stops away from Kyoto station so to me, good location. There is 7-eleven and Lawson nearby too so you can grab breakfast from there. The room is quite big for hotel in Kyoto. Clean and comfortable. You have to give your key at the counter when you leave the hotel each time. I have no issue with that because it takes off the worry of losing your keys. Staffs are friendly. The only comment I would say is the hallway lights are a bit dim so it gives off this horror vibes. But after awhile you just get used to it. The laundry is not within hotel so if you are looking to wash your clothes, you have to wash it elsewhere. I would come back to this hotel if I am in Kyoto.

Hotel was in a good location, staff was friendly and hotel was always clean. The location was good for my Itinerary, I didn’t have to go as far.

The location is convenient, close to CIEE/subway and bus stations, and only a ten-minute walk to the shopping street. The counter clerk was polite Although the hotel facilities are a bit old, door keys are still used, and you have to hand in the key counter to enter and exit the hotel, but the room is spacious and clean, and it is worth staying.

I often use this hotel when I travel to Kyoto. It's conveniently located for sightseeing and the accommodation fee is reasonable, so unless there is vacancy, there is no reason to stay at another hotel. It is clean and the staff are polite. I'll stop here because if I praise it too much, it will become too popular and there will be no vacancies.

The location is great. You can't reserve a parking spot, but I've always been able to find one. I've stayed here many times and am very satisfied.

The level of customer service was low, the room was not clean, there was hair on the floor, and the shower had no hot water, so there was nothing good about it. I will never stay here again, and I do not recommend it.

The cleanliness was perfect. I was able to check in several hours before the designated check-in time, which was very helpful. It was a clean, reasonably priced hotel with everything I needed. I would like to use it again if I have the opportunity.

It is very close to Karasuma-Oike Subway Station and only takes 7 minutes to walk to Nishiki Market. The staff at the counter are very friendly and the room is very clean. I will still choose this hotel next time I go to Kyoto.

The price is relatively affordable in Kyoto, and the transportation is very convenient. It is a 300m walk to Karasuma Oike subway station. The hotel has a more traditional front desk style. You take the key and return the key when you go out. Ask the front desk for it when you come back. There is a small shrine next to the hotel, which you can visit. It takes less than 30 minutes to walk to the 4-jo Heyuan Hall Bar Street, which is very convenient. Conan's check-in spot is nearby Benkeishi

It's a very old hotel with traditional keys. The location is good on the main road, but the soundproofing in the room is very poor, and there was a loud noise in the middle of the night. Fortunately, we were just staying there for one night.

This Easter holiday trip to Kyoto, I chose Kinmen Kyoto Hotel, which is close to the subway Karasuma Oike Station. It takes about 5 minutes to walk to the subway station. The room is full of traces of history, and the air conditioning is insufficient. Even at the end of March, the room still feels warm. The toilet was clogged for no reason on the last night, but the staff was willing to help clear the water.
